Every time I listen to their old songs, my heart starts beating fast. I had a hard time growing up and Tokio Hotel was my escape. Today they are not what they were, it's a pity.
I was at a concert a few days ago and it was just not the same feeling as when I was a child adoring their music videos. They are very different. Don‘t get me wrong, I was incredibly happy crying and screaming my heart out when they played durch den Monsun. But I wish I could‘ve seen young Bill live
@@MK-bb4zy Poor guy, you werent old enough, when the real Tokio Hotel was alive. I am so happy to be old enough, that I was able to grow up with the original Tokio Hotel.
Уже лет 15 прошло, а я всё так же возвращаюсь к этой группе в моменты печали. Кто бы мог подумать. Когда-то у меня была мечта заполучить себе этот клип на телефон, а возможность увидеть Каулитца младшего вживую -- и вовсе казалась запредельным счастьем. Так забавно вспоминать об этом. Всегда было ощущение, что Билл меня понимал, и в текстах его песен всегда нахожу эту необходимую поддержку.
В 2015 полностью остановила фандом токов. И лет 5 слушаю только к-поп. Но как сегодня случаются вспышки воспоминаний старых песен токов))) они тогда были культовыми. Сейчас непонятно во что превратились и о чем поют…
@@alyadi5982 Но они всё же остались вместе и не развалились. В отличие от множества других популярных групп тех лет. Охотно верю в то, что их дружба друг с другом была искренней с малых лет. И это восхищает. Они остаются вместе на любых этапах. Даже когда стали петь "непонятно про что".
@@alyadi5982 я тоже, если честно, уже не фанат. Музыка новая их мне не нравится. Но Билл как личность всё ещё кажется родным. И в целом как люди они остаются всё теми же. Поэтому атмосфера чего-то подлинного, как и в те времена, ощущается. Ну, лично у меня так.
Waw... Ca fait bizarre de réécouter leur musique après 5-6 ans sans les avoir écouté. Les souvenirs qui reviennent, les larmes qui montent, ça fait tout drôle... Je n'ai jamais réussi à être aussi fan d'un groupe que j'ai pu l'être d'eux. C'était tout un truc ! Et quand je les vois à la télé, sur les clips, ça fait toujours un petit truc... Certains disait que c'était juste du commercial, mais non, c'était bien plus que ça ! C'était un réel attachement.
+Léonia Quelard je te comprends tellement.. quand j'avais 15-16-17 ans j'etais fan au point de pleuré quand je les voyais à la tele.. mes murs etaient remplit de la moindre photo d'eux découper dans un magasine j'ai voulu parlé allemand et meme me faire le meme tatouage lol aujourd'hui quand je les réecoute 7 ans apres ça fais bizarre !! mais en y repensant le cœur bat encore
+Léonia Quelard Idem, je devais avoir 15-16 ans quand ils sont arrivé dans ma vie et ils en sont qu'à mes 18 ans et je peux dire, qu'on en a traversé des choses eux et moi. C'était comme des amis pour moi. Maintenant je me souviens que de très peu de leurs paroles mais quand je les voient à la télé ou sur youtube, c'est comme si je revoyais des anciens amis...
Ich vermisse genau diese Band. Nicht die von heute.. früher war sie voller Emotionen und Gefühle und die Songs trafen einen mitten ins Herz. Wow wie die Zeit vergeht..
I just discovered Tokio Hotel in april 2023 because of tiktok and I´m just so inlove with them and their music. It makes me feel so nostalgic even though I´m only 14 years old. I miss their glowing era, 2005-2010.... Still love them now, but their music just doesn´t hit like the ones from earlier. 1000 Meere is one of my favourite songs from them and makes me always sob everytime I hear it. I´m really happy because I´m going to the 2025 Tour in Frankfurt and I´ll be probably crying my soul out, but it will be worth it because I´ll be meeting the ones who saved me. Their music just relates to me which makes me like them even more. I´ll never forget you Tokio Hotel!!!
2009. I was 7 years old. My aunt was in love with them. Now she died.. it's hard for me to listen again but in the same time I smile, remembering all the good times. We were like sisters.. I miss her every day.
Can't believe...when this song was realized when i was 15 and i was just a child, knew nothing about the world. And now i'm 21, i live in another country, i have quite serious job and getting married. So many things have changed since then. Woah...
+Xtn Ta When I was 21 (back in 2006), I didn't think of getting married XD I was obsessed with TH and was waiting for them to come to my country. Now I'm 31 and still not married and now I'm crying while I listen the old TH songs.

Never will I grow tired of this band... I of course have other musical tastes as well, and other bands I love BUT it doesn't mean I don't LOVE Tokio Hotel.... It is impossible NOT TO!!

I read the comments, realizing how hard it must be for really old fans listening to this masterpieces. I am a new Tokio Hotel fan, and Bill and Tom are 17 years older than me. Whenever i listen to their songs, i feel like i want that time back, even though i wasn't even alive when they released "Durch den Monsun". (The song is more than a year older than me). I love all their old and most of the new Songs and it makes me sad when i realise i can't meet them. I want to go to the tour 2025 but i can't afford the tickets... and they're probably sold out until I've saved some money. But I will try my best to save as much money as i can.

Ecouter ça quand on a 13 ans et en avoir presque 20 ça fout un coup de vieux violent! Surtout quand on recommence à les voir revenir sur les plateaux TV français et de voir qu'on est toujours aussi heureuse de les voir :p. Il m'avait manquer et depuis quelques temps j'recommençais à les écouter comme quoi c'était prémonitoire ^^ Tokio Hotel malgré ce qu'on peut en dire reste un super groupe (même ma mère les aime maintenant haha :p)
Je comprends tout à fait ce que tu veux dire ! Je vais avoir 20 ans et ils ont marqué toute mon adolescence. Et malgré ce que les gens peuvent dire ils sont de retour !
I just found out about this band and I am totally in love and whenever I listen to their songs I feel like crying idk why. And Yes they might not look the same as before but they are still stunning!
я просто сума от них сходила! мне тогда было 15 лет и ни кто меня не понимал, как я могу их любить! сейчас уже и я выросла и исполнение группы изменилось(( я и сейчас их слушаю, но старые песни мне нравятся на много больше, когда они исполняли только на немецком!
i feel old as well.. i was 13 when i heard they're first song and now i am 22.. i was so in love and somehow its a nice feeling listening to they're songs and thinking about the past :-)
Again and again I return to listening this masterpiece. The time is flying so fast. It feels like it was yesterday, but 12 years had already gone. As well as my favourite band, which is not the same anymore. So damn sad.

I wanted to do it because I thought nobody loves me... this society is so toxic, so materially oriented, and I see no perspective in such society... I just want a hand to hold on to... nothing more... I lost my parents within 2 years time... My mom died from urethral cancer... and dad had suffered pulmonary embolism combined with lung cancer... and died a week after my 23rd birthday... I wanted to take his pills and drink all of them...

it's been such a long time....i rember every single song and every single mv from them.totally made me feel everything more intense.i was 13 years old when i first discovered them and totally worth it.now i am 24 years old and not ashmed to tell all this even if some people may think this is "emo music crap" as they use to tell me when i was 13 14 yo....definetlly good memories...still like them
People always told me '' how can you listen to a band with a gay singer,, because i am hetero like only gay people can listen to gay singers i don't understand the logic in it music has nothing to do with sexual orientation.. What a narrow minded opinion. Sexuality doesn't define a man's value. Not so many people can show the world who they are and don't care about the consequences or the shaming it takes courage and a lot of it. Even a gay man got more courage than most of the proud heteros. Can't understand so many shallow people in today's world. They shame who is different this society is sick to the core and totally toxic without any compassion for the other fellow human being.

Ich finde die Band allgemein echt klasse, das lied selber ist der Hammer, jeder der diese gruppe liebt und gut findet das die wieder gekommen sind Liken.
Ich war 5 als sie groß raus kamen mit durch den Monsun. Nun 12 Jahre später bin ich 17 Jahre alt und ich liebe sie noch immer. Fan seit der ersten Stunde. Alien für immer. ❤

Je me souviens avoir écouté cette chanson en 2009 pour la première fois dans le bus, regarder la route et penser "ok futur, bring it on , I'm so ready for you". Aujourd'hui, 2016, cet espoir à disparu.
Je me souvien...j'avais 8 ans...1000 meerch ete ma chanson preferer...me voila 7 ans plus tard a écouter Slipknot, avenged sevenfold, metallica,papa roach,five finger death punch, pantera....et des fois je revien reveiller la melancolie en moi😢 (Je fait des videos de music n'hesite pas a venir voir ;-) )
moi aussi, ces années c'était génial, maintenant ils font plus le même style de musique mais je les écoute toujours mais cette époque juste magnifique grâce a eux ! tellement mélancolique :'(

des si bon souvenirs d'ado..... dire que j'écoutai sa à mes 13 ans ! Je regrettera jamais d'avoir eu les TH comme idoles dans ma jeunesse, sa, jamais. Tom est toujours aussi beau, lol.
