Wahnsinn, euch heutzutage zu sehen, was ihr erzählt von früher, als ich mit 12/13 der größte Fan von euch war. Was eine Zeit... und wie professionell ihr das alles gemeistert habt - bis heute. Großen Respekt immer noch!

I still find really sad how some fans were that obsessed that they even trespassed their house and stalked them all day till the point they have to left their own country. It is true that now the fandom is smaller but the fans are now more mature and I think we both (aliens+TH) are happier this way. It doesn't really matter if their songs play on the radio or not or if they get nominated on award shows. Also I feel people appreciate their music more now.

Ich liebe eure Musik. Ich werde nie vergessen als ich das erste mal durch den Monsun gehört habe. Im Zelt bei meiner Oma im Garten. Ich war Feuer und Flamme. Und das hat sich bis heute nicht geändert!!!!

Mir kommen immer wieder Tränen, wenn ich diese ganze Bedrängung sehe... Ich meine, ich hätte mich zwar auch riesig gefreut euch mal live zu sehen, aber NIEMALS wäre ich auf die Idee gekommen euch dermaßen zu belästigen... Da bekommt man ja schon Panikzustände, wenn man nur diese paar Aufnahmen sieht! O.O' Schön zu sehen, dass ihr nicht daran zerbrochen seid, sondern die Kurve rechtzeitig bekommen habt!

Wow, growing up with you guys has been unreal. This documentary really hits home. If the same dudes came up 20 years later, things wouldn’t be as crazy as they were, you know? Nowadays, with social media, ‘celebs’ feel more down-to-earth, which keeps people from going too nuts. I still remember the frenzy when you were at the top. I used to go to your concerts (last one was Humanoid in 2010) some fans were wild! But now, after all these years, I’m excited to catch your concert again. Thanks for being part of my growing up journey, and wishing you all the best!

Es ist wirklich schön, euch so angekommen zu sehen. Ich bin auch Fan seit Beginn, habe mich über Jahre hinweg täglich mit euch beschäftigt, alles verfolgt und alles gefeiert. Ihr werdet glaube ich für immer einen besonderen Stellenwert für mich haben, ich werde mit euch immer mehr verbinden als mit anderen Bands - obwohl ich mich längst nicht mehr unbedingt als Fan bezeichnen würde. Ich musste mich lange an die neue Musik gewöhnen und finde viele andere Bands inzwischen musikalisch interessanter. Dennoch freut mich extrem, dass die Veränderung letztendlich so positiv geworden ist und ich finde immer noch, dass ihr alle sowohl einzeln als auch gemeinsam spannende Persönlichkeiten seid und wünsche euch von ganzem Herzen alles Gute für eure berufliche und private Zukunft.

Omg... this documentary is explaining so many things... honestly, new music is not what I particularly listen but I really love most of the songs because you kept that specific sound .. you are really special guys, and I am so proud to be an Alien for 12 years ❤ love you boys so much and there's huge career in the future, even bigger than before, I really believe in that. But most importantly is that you are happy and living the life you always wanted. Sending lot of love ❤❤❤

Das ist der Wahnsinn: Noch bis vor kurzem hätte ich nie gedacht, dass ich mich eines Tages für Tokio Hotel-Dokus interessieren würde. 🤔 Vielleicht liegt es auch ganz einfach an dieser Heidi-Tom-Liebesgeschichte. Denn schließlich ist Heidi für mich der Inbegriff einer Business-Mama und die TH-Jungs wiederum der Inbegriff von kleinen Jungs (wegen derer 1.Hits)..Alles in allem irgendwie ja doch sehr spannend...🤩🍱

Ihr seid im gleichen Alter wie ich und ich hätte es damals glaub ich nicht so professionell gemeistert wie ihr 🙈👍🏼 auf noch viele weitere geile Jahre mit euch 👊🏼🤗

Ganz ehrlich, ich hab euch damals nicht wirklich gehört (meine Schwester war dafür ein riesen Fan von euch) und heute auch nicht. Doch ihr seid von der Persönlichkeit alle so interessant, dass ich schon immer wieder mal vorbei schaue und besonders so Dokumentationen oder Interviews gerne ansehe. Macht einfach weiter so, scheint ja immer irgendwie für euch hin zu hauen. :)

I’ve been a fan since the day you guys started up and people around me who worshipped you like gods, they screamed the shouted, the would tear a house down for you. I love you, but I was never one of those people that screamed like a maniac and I got annoyed when people wouldn’t give celebrities their personal space. I get adoring someone, I do. But it can also be done silently. You guys have helped me through really tough times in my life. Your song, spring nicht is one of the songs that have really picked me back up, got me back on track. I don’t expect you guys to see this comment, because just like I said before, we are all human and we can’t be there for everyone at once. I wish I could have had the opportunity to attend one of your concerts but I never have. I watched your music videos & MTV awards from home and I used to bake cakes on your birthdays. 😆 which might seem a bit silly, but I felt lonely. And baking for someone who I looked up too, made me feel less lonely. I hope you guys are living your best life in LA and maybe one day I get to meet you. Thank you for this documentary, it’s telling a story that I felt like I knew all along. People were wondering why you left and I felt like I always knew.

Bill kam bei Jan und Olli überraschend aufgeräumt und sympathisch daher. Finde es auch mehr als anständig das die anderen beiden nach wie vor involviert sind! Müsste bei der Art Musik die die heute machen nicht unbedingt sein.

since many of you are complaining about the lack of subtitles, im gonna roughly summarize what theyre talking about: bill and tom are explaining how extremely exhausting it was having huge amounts of fans waiting at their front door when they were still living in germany. ppl broke into their house and they had no privacy at all. thats why they decided to move to L.A, here theyre able to live a normal life like everybody else, its alot more anonymous there. gustav and georg on the other hand really like living in germany and though they like to come to america for a vacation, they cant really imagine living there and are very happy in magdeburg. then theyre talking about how they from time to time meet up to record new songs, but most of the time tom finishes the songs without the others being with him. they also enjoyed their year off, doing nothing just enjoying life, but they had to "be careful" not to chill for too long and to actually get back to recording stuff.

I remember how sudden their fame was. One day I went to school and everyone talked about them, it didn't matter if they liked Tokio Hotel music or looks, everyone had opinion. And it really went on all my teenage years. I will be blunt and will say that they left an imprint on a whole generation of Europeans. Nowadays fame like this is not possible, media has changed and fame is more of a calculated business deal. Of course, it was clear they always knew how to lead the crowds, but the fandom they had - it was insane and felt natural. And now, what is even more insane to me is seeing that it is happening again. New generation of fans had taken over social media and lead Tokio Hotel legacy forward. I cannot wait for what future of this band brings, and I have a feeling - this is just a beginning.
