I remember when i was like 12-13(2010) i've seen TH for First while Bill still had Emo hair it was actually Deutsch version of this. I was listening "Durch the Monsoon" And this whole days And life was Just Fine. Like 3 years ago i out of curiosity try to play new TH And wtf?! It changed a lot
haha it's funny, because around 2005 this song was released in Germany (the German version) and I remember being in 5th grade where Tokio Hotel was kinda the "Justin Bieber" of our generation, everybody hated them. But after hearing this song 10 years later I think that it's way better than most of the music nowadays! I even enjoy hearing this song now :p

I remember growing up loving this song. When I moved to England, I didn't speak the language, and as a result of that I often spent my breaks in primary school alone. Since they didn't allow phones/music devices, I had written down the lyrics to Monsoon in a small notebook and I'd sit or walk around alone singing this song to myself time and time again. It really holds a special place in my heart. Also, happy 2022 everyone with great taste!

Question I hope someone can answer: did the song translate well? I don’t speak German, but I heard the original version and they both sound identical. They did an awesome job in making them sound alike so I was wondering. Usually in my experience with English songs translated to Spanish and vice versa they sound so different and I always prefer the original.
It was pretty emo. It's just different sounding than the other emo bands and songs. The kid fit the style and the lyrics were very emotional and Melancolic.

My favorite thing about this song is how "clean" the instrumental part sounds. No useless noises, no instrument louder than necessary, no headaches, the singer's voice is here and clear even in the soft parts. Great listening experience unlike many beautiful rock songs that I love but don't listen to very often, where the experience is partly ruined by unnecessarily overwhelming sounds and messy arrangements.
Well in order for rock to sound really for best results so you can pretty much hear every instrumental separation with clarity first of all you need to listen to it to with some high tier headphones not the cheap ones
