Ja... he had to do playback for quite a few songs during their first tour and concerts back in 2005 because his voice had already started changing. And he's also done playback during Jingle Ball and a Hot Topic performance in Hollywood this year... but I think that's because he doesn't wanna risk his voice for the new album ;x
