Definitely would be a lot harder without the key. But that’s the same with any lock. I understand it’s locksport and it’s about fun. I still rate this lock unpicked in the real world.
That depends on the attack - I think that against a tool like an abloy cutter, the 300 pro won't last for long; but against picking it should be better than the Cisa. The Tokoz should be more resilient to the bad weather, but some people might have a problem getting used to the overturn-then-turn-back drill to extract the key. I'd say that both are fine locks and the winner is probably going to be determined by other considerations. But also remember that the overall security depends on the weakest link and there are other things than just the lock...
That is not a stupid question; as I wrote, if the thief knows the bitting of the key, he can just "dial" the discs as I did. That said, he'd also had to make the tool and practice with it for a considerable amount of time... And as for opening unknown lock like that - the lock is out for 11 years and was first time publicly picked roughly a year ago; and none of those videos imho presents viable blind picking strategy. So if you keep your keys out of sight, as you should, I don't think the lock is going to be the weakest link.

Very nice! My favorite lock. I have a question: When gutting my Tokoz Pro, it seemed to me that the discs are quite flexible and that it might be possible to somehow "push" the disc against the sidebar while turning it (without actual tensioning of the whole core) and you should feel a little "click" when the gate aligns with the sidebar. Do you think that it might be possible to utilize this?
Not sure, to be honest... My pick tip was 1.2mm wire thinned down to about 0.5mm to be able to move between the discs. Also if the tip wiggle, you have a hard time to stay on the disc while turning it. And last, but not least, to be able to set the zero cuts, you have to rotate the disc controller quite far, but you'd have to rotate only enough not to engage the DBS. There is also the spring loaded ball bearing that holds the tailpiece and the washers in the middle, where the sidebar groove is, so I'm not sure if the sidebar would have a tendency to push against the discs. All in all, you could try it with some Z shaped pick tip, that might have a chance to push the disc against the sidebar, but you have to find a sweet spot for disc controller rotation, that would give you full range of motion, but wouldn't engage the disc blocker.
Thinking about it a bit more, I realized the Z shaped pick tip won't do - at that moment the key guide is above and below the pick shaft and won't let you go off center verticaly. L shaped tip to the side might have a chance, but you are going to have a problem rotating the disc back. Anyway, nothing beats an experiment, right? 😁
