True, when I see a olympian that takes a medal, a tear or two comes from my eye even if he/she isnt somebody from my country. That music and feeling makes many people cry. These Olympic games gave me Motivation to start doing any sport. When I return from my Holliday i want to train athletic. Maybe discus throw or even jumping with this huge stick.

Naoki Sato (the composer) had stated in an article that composing music for an Olympic victory ceremony was a new experience for him, and for this soundtrack, he decided not to employ any distinctly Japanese elements in his piece, adding that victory ceremonies are for athletes from around the world and he wanted them - regardless of where they are from - to feel at ease when rising to the podium. The music was recorded by a total of 144 performers who represent Japan's top-class studio musicians and leading orchestras.
This is simply the best victory music of all time. Imagine all the struggles the athletes went through to reach the highest podium then this music plays. Thank you Japan!

This music inspires me so much, it really is the music of champions. I ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon yesterday and this music helped push me through. 🏅 what a fantastic Olympic Games, Tokyo 2020 🇯🇵 I miss you already, Arigato.

I wasn't even born when Italy set the record for most medals in 1984. It is so incredible to have seen Italians winning 40 medals, and all in the same Summer where the football team won the Euros and an Italian was in the Wimbledon final. That is much more than one would have expected
This song is as beautiful and will become a hit as "Chariots of Fire", "Star Wars", "Indiana Jones" and many OST's which it’s success surpassed the movie they were composed for. I foresee many accolades and achievements for this composer. What a blast I have every time they give the medals.

Iam hearing it again on 25th July 2024 just one day before Paris Olympic 2024 opening ceremony and can't believe how time goes on !Just loved the music of this and gets goosebumps!❤One of the best thing of Tokyo Olympic was that Jamaican athlete got forgotten his stadium bus and boarded wrong bus and one of the volunteer guided him .

Tive COVID durante as olimpíadas, e assisti praticamente tudo. Tive crises de tosse e falta de ar intensa, e algumas vezes foi durante a cerimônia de premiação, só não fui internado por um milagre. A cada vez que eu escuto essa música, me lembro da dor forte no peito pela falta de ar, de suar muito, cair a pressão… mas, acima de tudo ela me traz um sentimento muito grande de superação, estou vivo… assim como os atletas que lá estavam superando seus limites. This track is just so epic. Not only does it sound like greatness have been achieved, but also that there is light in the end in all dark situations. Even though there are hard times, there is hope things will get better. Something that has really helped me out this year.

As a french, I lived my best Olympics. I think about this music when i watch again and again Batum's block against Slovenia, taking France to the basketball final, I think about our two Gold medal Champions men and women in handball, I think about this amazing volleyball team. Man I will miss this time, I will miss this glorious time. As a basketball fan, I lived my best, best days.
