Class1 Super GT cars are the same rule as the final(non-GT3) generation of DTM car. They have a common tub with a production looking body on it and they all run a 2L turbo 4. They are faster than the old GT500 JGTC cars(pre-2016?) but somehow not as cool because they are not based on a production design. Old GT500 has some weird and wacky things about them...

I've noticed that your videos are mostly Toyota or Nissan, especially GTRs and Z cars, but for Tokyo Auto Salon, what does Honda, Mazda and other major JDMs have to offer???

11:35 - that's a take on the 1989-1991 Alfa Romeo Zagato SZ. it's a rare Italian car, and you have likely seen it, just not enough to recall the shape quickly from memory.

from what I can gather about the stripped down R35 is that it's showcasing that you can do a R34 transimision on the Vr38 R35 eninge and be able to have it manual then also you can do it vice versa too on the R34 converted to and R35 motor

That drift version of the GR Corolla was used by Kalle Rovanperä, one of Toyota's factory drivers in WRC and also the youngest ever World Rally Champion at just 22 years old (He's now a two-time world champion) at FD Japan last year. ----- GT500 are straight up prototype racecars with a road car silhouette on top capable of running alongside current Hypercar/GTP in WEC/IMSA (or even faster). Different case for the Supra GT300 though because GT300 still retains some parts from the actual road car.

You got to do more coverage on that little van or whatever it was next to that skyline. Just why does it exist is what is eating away at me.

The reason why there was a shotgun in the Skyline Silhouette around 37:00 is a tribute of TV drama series "西部警察 (Seibu Keisatu)". The very popular police movie contracted with Nissan, and DR30 Skyline and S130 Fairlady became iconic cars in the 1980s drama series. The police leader Daimon shotsuspects with the shotgun from the cars in the every last scene of the stories. Bringing back so many memories, only flew back last week, I did tag you in the factory gear skyline tool kit and noticed you did visit. What an awesome shop. This trip I managed to get out to car shop lead and Jackpot which was dream come true stuff for me. Fortunately my friend Sohei can take me to these places (he also owns an awesome SA) and all he ever asks for is a bit of food. We do not deserve the Japanese people or the culture.

That toyota truck broke the internet because it costs around 10-15k and customizable truck bed. Can add to it and turn it to an RV. Lots of usage.

Funny story I have is seeing the black carbon active R32 at SEMA a few years back and at the time I didn’t see or know Sakamoto-san but he was so excited and kind to show us his car and only afterwards did I find out who he was. He kinda appeared out of nowhere to us and just looked so happy to be there and show us around. Overall just such a cool and surreal experience.

Sakamoto San has had carbon r32s before the grey one. The grey one was the first dry carbon one. The ones prior were wet carbon.
