This looks to be The Edo Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum in Koganei Park, Tokyo I think. It’s a collection of building saved from demolition, moved and rebuilt. I’ve been many times and it’s fascinating. It’s a bit out of the way from central Tokyo but well worth a visit, I never tire of it.
Probably the landscape of Japan from 1950 to 1960 I was born in the 1960s and it was like this. Poster actors are from the 1950s Maybe it was taken in a modern restoration facility. (People who touch wells and guards)
@@fabiowodczynski5602 I was born in Japan in early 1960's. This was Japan as I remember. It was this way up until early 1970's. At 0:49, the guy on the poster was a famous movie actor in Japan. He first appeared on the scene in 1956. It means this couldn't be before 1956.
@@fabiowodczynski5602 I just founded out that this is called Edo-Tokyo Museum. It's a museum. It's not real. Here is the address: 3-7-1 Sakuramachi, Koganei City, Tokyo (In Metropolitan Koganei Park)
@@fabiowodczynski5602 The police's outfit was way more intimidating before the WW2 ended in 1945. It's not a even a police officer in this video, it's a modern security guard's outfit, it's very similar to the modern Japanese police officer's outfit. The bicycle he rides is also a modern women's shopping bicycle.
This is Japan after the intensive westernization. Every single bit of the things in the video manifests the western aesthetics. It's still lovely to see these old things though.
They do not really do. Japanese architects usually had their own ways of architecture, which were quite different to western counterparts. Kenzo Tange would be an example
bruh this is 4k 60fps clearly. and why do you name this title tokyo in the 1920 ? at least give us the discription for the misleading title. however the scene did a good job . maybe next time shoot this video in a lower frame rate so it might look more "1920"
I was thinking more of the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 that levelled the city. If this is a preserved section of Tokyo, I haven't heard of it, and I'd very much like to see it. If that is the case, then they must have had it blocked off for making this video because there would be tons of people around at this kind of attraction.
