This week I am flying to Mallorca, Spain for a holiday, and in two weeks I'm attempting to get home to Adelaide, Australia, with two weeks hotel quarantine in Melbourne! Fingers crossed I get home!!
(This was in August 2021).

Great vlog. Thanks for sharing! The Japanese food you asked the name of is Onigiri and the TV show is a talk show (Dancing Sanma Palace -an official English title). The host is a super famous comedian Sanma Akashiya. I miss Australia! Looking forward to your upcoming videos.

Hello! Newbie here! I follow quite a few other wonderful flight attendants and whoo hoo I came across one more! I am seriously into aviation, watching planes etc. ( also it's less nervewracking for me to watch than flying in them LOL). And I definitely would be glued to that hotel window with all those big birds coming in! Even those strobe lights by the runway fascinate me. You seem absolutely lovely and sweet. Please consider me the latest addition to the community here . My fingers will be crossed that you make it to your family. Things are kinda bleak here in the USA too. Wasn't long ago that the situation seemed to be improving. Anyway, I'm delighted to have found you Viv :)

10:34 was Korean Air, no idea what the Star wars livery was on. You are one of a kind Viv, ordering a bowl, plate and cutlery from room service sans any actual food lol. The meals looked fantastic though you will need to get creative in Hotel quarantine 🤞🤞

Ahh Korean Air! I should know my aircraft designs! There were SO many planes flying, past, non stop entertainment 😂 I know I was like “sorry I’m not actually ordering food”, I think they’re used to it! Yesss training for quarantine haha 💕💕💕

Great questions! I use an app called mobimatter, I pay for international data, I think it's around $40US, and gives you around 13GB which is very handy - works in most countries. And I usually pay with things with card when I travel, and usually have USD with me which is easy to convert if I need cash somewhere. 🥰

Viv I have one request to make that can you please make a video in your free time about the rules and regulations followed by cabin crew of Emirates (best airline in the world). I have heard Qatar Airways has very tough rules for their crew. So I justed wanted to know of Emirates also. I love airline but please make only if you have time

hello i’d like to ask you a question about your job. i’m currently working as a flight attendant in Turkey and i have recently applied for Emirates. I’m wondering if Emirates pays extra money for knowing another language except from English. In my case it’s Turkish. Thank you already, safe flights ✌🏻

Nope, we all receive pretty much the same salary, depending on your grade (e.g. if you work in economy class, business, first, supervisor, purser etc.). Having another language is an amazing skill, but doesn't increase your salary 🥰
