it means the triplet/twin died if Im correct

It's to let other nurses and other patients know that their baby of set of twins/triples has passed and to let them have their moment alone. It was made for grieving mother's so they would give them space and have a bit more sympathy due to their grief ❤️💕

It means their sibling passed away and they put that butterfly their so that their sibling won't become one

@@Arlexsits correct they put a butterflie for the dead sibling so the others nurses and patients let the parents of the dead little angel time cuz they need it😭
