Tokyo STREET FOOD Market Experience: Exploring Ueno Ameyoko Market in Japan 🇯🇵 

"Where do we experience a legit street food market in Tokyo?" Ben had asked that morning.
We visited Ueno Park to catch the last cherry blossom tree, get some snacks (Doraemon/Hello Kitty bready snacks, takoyaki, & fried chicken in a cup) at the Ueno Park Street Fair, and then go to Ameyoko Shopping Street for the real street food market experience. At the Ameyoko Market, we ate seafood bowls (kaisen-don), takoyaki, and tanghulu (candied fruit on a stick). After we were all full, we visited Akihabara, which houses Mandarake, the largest anime and manga store in the world, as well as gaming arcades like GiGO Akihabara 3. For dinner, we got glowing recommendations from Ben's cousin that Gyukatsu Motomura is hands down the best spot for beef katsu (beef cutlets). 'Twas an amazing day in Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵
