In memory of Toller Cranston who passed away yesterday. Here, for over 10 minutes, Toller Cranston electrifies the capacity crowd at the Broadmoor World Arena with exhibition after exhibition, including Pagliacci. The home video here is in pretty good condition and the energy from the crowd really brings this to life. He was just a rockstar here. Brilliant stuff!

RIP my dear friend. when was the last time was saw a skater have 10 minutes of standing ovations? Toller.was the only one.

Nobody interprets the music better than Toller. He makes music into a very visual experience. All his extensions, the pointed toes with his soaring jumps, incred8ble slides which not many were doing at the time, what a memorable and legendary performer!

I had forgotten how brilliant he was: incredible lines, extensions, unique choreography, so far ahead of his time. I never saw this exhibition before. Thank you, floskate, for keeping these treasures and posting them.

Thanks so much for sharing this video! I've been watching videos of Toller Cranston since the news of his passing broke on Saturday. Such a loss. My mother gave my sisters and I a love of skating (watching it) from the time we were young, and he was always her favorite, and mine! He was magical to watch.

Он сотворил чудо на льду!Смотрю много лет.Такой фигур ист/это балет высшей марки на льду! Очень его не хватает.Мы восхищается его записями/это уже счастье!Спасибо его тренеру Бурке и всем,с кем он сделал первые шаги.

Первый раз увидела этого фигуриста, и это лучшее, что видела до этого. Он не заигрывает с зрителями как некоторые звёзды, но отдаёт им весь свой талант. Он лучший!!!

Я была маленькая, но до сих пор помню, какое яркое впечатление произвел на меня этот фигурист. Как хорошо, что есть возможность видеть записи его выступлений! А это я очень хорошо помню.

Бесподобный Толлер Крэнстон- его катание - это искусство ! Всегда наслаждалась его катанием , когда он был действующим спортсменом ! Очень красиво !

Sadly, figure skating didn’t learn as much from Toller Cranston as they should have as it relates to stressing artistry/innovativeness in the sport which I think is much more important than athleticism. Athleticism is the direction it was taken....consequently, it is now a rather boring sport to watch.
