"Logos, ethos, and pathos [that is, the philosophy that instructs, the spirit/character that delights and entertains, and the appeal that moves and inspires] are all employed to one end in great literature. And what is it? To shape the moral imagination. Why? Because when you live according to a properly formed moral imagination, you become more human.
St. Thomas says that before you act, you have to be able to conceive of the action in your imagination. So, before we can become moral, just, honorable, good, heroic, we have to have those things presented to our imagination [through] characters who act with [these virtues]." -Sr. Jane Dominic Laurel, O.P.

This lecture is profound. I will refer this to young adults between the ages of 21 to early 30s. I am in my late 70s. I am familiar with the hippy sexual revolution. During these past few generations loving sacrifice has become murky.Hippys , materialism, nihilistic thought have weakened woman kind. Lies try to make us doubt /believe our design as God made us.
