Just some clips of my favorite layouts at Tolworth Showtrain 2022
The layouts filmed are Beckwick, Solent Summit and Kleine Albula

Solent Summit 9:37
Kleine Albula 21:16
Beckwick was my personal favorite as I am a big southern railways fan especially EMU's and DMU's the layout was set around the 1960s era when Steam Trains was very much near the end of mainline use. The layout always had something moving from the branch line operating to a works train pulling into the station.
Solent Summit was another one of my favorites as it was something different being set in modern day america. The layout is modular and in its biggest form it is 5 scale miles in N Gauge there was multiple trains moving along the running track with realistic length trains. The layout had different sections which the trains would run through this gave it the feel of moving from one place to another.
Kleine Albula stood out to me for it being set in a Swiss mountain side and there being snow. It was a good example of what a oval layout can be turned into and was very well detailed. The trees created a layer from which the layouts viewing was blocked this added to the detail and being more realistic as of the real thing. Some layouts forget this and frame just the track and trains on it this framed it as a whole scene.
