Facts. And if he doesn't he's not too bright, because Aspinall is unstoppable at the moment. He's in his absolute prime and has too many weapons. Only way Jon might stand a chance is if he doesn't angage and runs away for a few rounds until Tom tires out a bit.
We ALL want to see Aspinall Vs Jones. Not because we dislike Jones, because we as fans genuinely want to find out who's best, LETS GET IT DONE DANA & THE UFC!!!📝✅
Are you 10?… “hereing “… what IS that? You mean HEARING.. right? And he is by the way.. sorry it just happens that he’s black. Must be upsetting for you
@@Inzain1336 wot the fuck are you talking about jones was light heavy weight not heavy weight we're he's only had 1 fight so his reign means nothing compared with Tom's
When True Geodie read out Tom Aspinall record. The 15 sound stoppage was a TKO loss, not a win because Tom's knee went right at the beginning of the fight against Curtis Blaydes which he devastatedly avenged and put to bed last night!
And lost too a judoka who gave him 30lb early in his career. Best heavyweight now without a doubt but jones has nothing too prove as he beat a murderers row at light heavyweight and is the goat without a doubt
Never seen anyone like Tom Aspinall, this is what we thought Chimaev would be like at the start, Tom is doing it consistently against top 10 fighters, can't see anyone beating him
Only reason so many people keep banging on about aspinall is cause he can’t do any more for the decision it’s literally the stats @@Marvel_vs_Capcom84.
If you recall, Jan Blachowicz from Poland, was a nearly identical to Tom Aspinall (although much slower). Jan was well rounded, had enormous hands, an 80 inch reach, extremely good wrestling and strength, and devestating one punch knockout power. Jon promptly retired after watching Jan Blachowicz do one of the most horrific one punch KO's against Corey Anderson (another large and athletic man, the size of Jon Jones). Jan hurt Corey so bad that he actually fell on the pavement days after the KO. Jon retired instead of facing Jan Blachowicz. It's the same situation again, with Jones at heavyweight, avoiding the #1 ranked guy.
Then said he had no challenges at 205 and wanted to move up. Then sat on the sidelines for Francis to leave the UFC to then fight the most incomplete Heavyweight in the division for the Title
Tom and Jan are nothing alike. Jan, got easily beaten by Glover, wrestled by Gus, KO'd by Santos. The real reason Jon left LHW, was because there was nothing there.
@ImextremelyAsian-c9g Jan blachowich is an all time great light heavyweight jon jones ducked him lmao after jones got schooled by reyes jan knocked out reyes in 2 rounds jones was scared from JAN 💀 so he retired lmao
But BDS beat moicano so paddy needs to fight him.. BDS is bigger and stronger than paddy.. Hope paddy accept his callout... It will be England vs France
@@mrsimpleslowmo if he want title shot why not. I think its good fight they fight same.. But if BDS win he will pock moicano . he know BDS is very strong and difficult to beat him.. You can hear he said he like moicano fight more when someone asked him about what if BDS win that fight... Hope BDS call him after beat moicano.. If somehow if moicano win i want him to fight winner of gamrot vs hooker.. If he beat bds then beat winner of gamrot / hooker he earned the title shot. After arman there is no one who got many wins..
Yeah Belal is not the best on the mic but honestly he tried his best to sell this fight but it takes two to tango and I don’t think I have ever seen a worse champion than Leon in promoting his fights
@@BlackWolf-el3guand Usman was the champ before Leon “knocked him out cold”. I know you’re crying but before that match happens, Belal is the champ.
You should have MMA Guru on the pod mate it would be fire Not sure you like him or not but you definitely share a lot of opinions particularly regarding Jones
Brian your fight analysis is seriously top drawer these days. It has been for a long time but just feel like this last year you've gone up another level.
I used to like Tom.. but the way in which UK fans are dismissive of JJ and the personal attacks?.. put me right off! Just like the rest of the world root for the England football team to lose.. I now understand why
@thesaintst1851 tell me where I'm wrong in what I've said? I'm definitely willing to listen and even change my stance if you can make a compelling argument... I just cannot see one.
@@2robjenkins😂😂 How? So he beat a one-dimensional kick-boxer by dragging him to the floor and submitting him. How is that more impressive than any of Tom’s first round KOs? Lay off the drugs mate
Imo the best version of Leon was when it was the trilogy with usman in the o2, whenever usman tried something Leon came back with more, really played with kamaru and really displayed that champion mentality, ironically It’s just like rocky from the movies once he’s reached the top he starts to get lazy and complacent, I hope Leon can comeback in a big way because he’s shown he can plus his story is incredible and is gonna be stuff of legends in 5 to 10 years from now, Leon needs to get that eye of the tiger back
Unfortunately for Leon that was more about Usman not being the same fighter than Leon being much greater. Leon is great but he lacks urgency and ability to come back. He did get that one head kick that made everyone think that he was some knockout artist, but he’s a point fighter and always has been.
@@albinhansson220 I disagree personally, we saw in that fight usman was still dangerous and a serious threat who was trying to do the same he did in the prior fight but Leon with that new found confidence managed to shut that down, Leon does have that instinct of being a dominant fighter in him but I feel it’s ultimately himself that ruins that with him trying to be too careful to not lose it all but not realising that’s what lost him the belt
Leon’s bubble has been burst big time. He quit inside 2 minutes. Shavkat will step in and own the division. Massive props to Paddy, he did what nobody thought was possible.
My gosh! Aspinall destroyed curtis, pavlovich, Volkov, in less than one round. It took less than a round for him to beat those great contenders. I'd like to see Aspinall against Miocic and Jones at the same time. Jones, as we know, arguably lost to Reyes and I am glad people are able to see this now, so imagine what Tom would do to him.
more like UFC is a joke. its turning into WWE. It's all about "entertainment" and blabla... everything but merit. Otherwise, Jones's title should have been stripped off by now. The interim champ is defending interim title, while the so called the real champ is actively ducking the interim champ. And Belal should have got the title shot ahead of Colby who had I guess zero wins against top 15, and I can go on... it's a disgrace.
Dana would like him more than Belal (which say nothing, because Dana likes everyone over Belal) so he would definitely make that match. Sending whatever Tigers he has to strip that man of his belt.
Tom is the first of the modern MMA HW's that redefines what the requirement are for the sport at that weight requires. What guys like Riddick Bowe and Lenmox Lewis were for HW boxing in the 90s. Big, athletic guys who are quick and powerful. Jon can't beat him at this stage.
That was Belal doing his best Khabib shot for shot. The patent back take. The 90 percent power on the hands knowing you have zero intention of striking but 40 seconds to a minute a round. He did a great Khabib 👍🏼
I think Leon & his team were ridiculously overconfident this week, they were absolutely dismissive of any chances after their first fight where Leon was piecing him up. Issue is Belal has improved massively since & has that mentality where he gets every possible piece of his ability out of himself. The Burns fight should’ve showed that. Still think his skillset is a level above Belal, but he was absolutely shellshocked & I had a bad feeling the way they were SO dismissive of him this week.
Jones isn’t scared but he is VAIN and with Aspinall’s star rising on both sides of the Atlantic, there is no way he will ride off into the sunset because he seeks glory. And his first move in a Aspinall fight will be spamming the Oblique kicks on Aspinall’s previously injured knee. Truly the most malicious fighter in history.
Now I do think Edwards couldn't switch on because of the time of the fight. Might sound mad but anyone who does shift work even working 4 weeks of nights will affect you. I think it doesn't help him switch on during the fight
@@craig-rp9jhyes and no when you create a circadian rhythm it's very hard to get out of it. But it easier when you are following a natural day. As far as I'm aware behal has only been here a week and just had to try and keep his circadian rhythm (which is still hard). I just think no one should be fighting at that time.
For me, Jones is not the Greatest Of All Time. That title goes to Demetrious 'Mighty Mouse' Johnson. Tom might get beaten by Jones. He really might because Jones is a talent almost never seen by people. But...... If the fight never materialises then that has to be down to Jones and not Tom Aspinall. The only thing left for Aspinall to do is start being disrespectful and immature and he will not do that because he really is..... REALLY IS a gentleman who lives by morals and principals and would not lower his standards for anyone, and that is what a real person should be. Jones either wants to fight him or he doesn't, and until he says yes..... it will always be the latter. I genuinely believe that Tom Aspinall hits him so fast and hard that he will put Jones on the same planet that all the others a currently waking up on.
@@user-he2ou2ex2f agreed, but he must of rode usmans frustration to that win..usman got pyched out and shell shocked; usman is the far better fighter than leon big time
Leon is the UFC’s version of Shakur. & this is similar to what I think would happen if Shakur fought Tank. pure domination due to Shakur not being willing to do enough to stop Tank.
@@RGPGAMING22wouldn’t you be considered a fedor dickrider on the flip side of that then? I would never disrespect fedor and what he did as a fighter but most heavyweights now would give fedor a problem, the sport has developed so much from fedors time
Hey Geordie, will you be talking about the Joyce vs Chisora fight and undercard at the O2? I'd love to hear your take on it. Moses / Dennis added. You rock!
For welterweight I’d like to see JDM v Shavkat Colby v Garry & the winner of that fights the winner of Burns v Brady MVP v Buckley Not sure if Luque v Diaz is happening so I reckon put Luque against Holland or Neil Magny
I don’t think Belal was bad at all, I thought his performance was pretty entertaining. When you know what’s at stake for the 2, seeing what Belal did was entertaining. He was a step ahead in the striking and grappling. And this is coming from a fan of both. Don’t do Belal dirty he put on a skilful performance.
Just for context as to how quickly tom got it done. Paddy Pimblett was being interviewed backstage for TNT Sport when you could hear Bruce in the background shouting "it's time!" Before paddy's interview was over there was a huge cheer in the background and then Paddy acknowledged Tom's win. There were people arguing with me in youtube comments today "he is not a champion", "who has he beat?" etc. I said tom has beaten a lot more heavyweights than jones but they were all "he didn't move up a division and become champion". I wonder what excuses they'll come up with if jon jones is stopped inside the distance by tom aspinall. I had a feeling Belal could get it done. I think Leon has the better technical attributes but Belal's determination and work rate has been paying dividends since he started working with khabib. I was still a bit surprised but not as surprised as most that Belal won. P.S. I want to see Shavkat Rakhmonov v Ian Garry for the welterweight belt within the next year. Paddy proved me wrong in the best possible way. I honestly didn't think he was on Green's level.
Jones is 🦆🦆🦆🦆 ducking big Tom he’s going to fight a man who’s never fought for years and says he’s doing it for his legacy Tom will starch him and he knows it
Well said mate. I can’t understand some of the logic JJ fan boys still cling to. Best one I heard today ‘Jon has been 5 rounds, Tom has never experienced championship rounds, so will drown when in deep waters’ Genuinely spat my drink out when I read it. Ignoring the fact Tom runs through all his opponents in the first round, not struggling to get a decision over 5 rounds. Mental statement…
I love your channel pain game but we must cross the bridge we are currently on. Wait after the Jones Stipe fight to possibly call Jones ducking. Tom does look great. I think Jones takes this fight to become even greater. Let’s see what happens.
Exactly Jones hasn't ducked yet. See if he fights stipe and if after that he doesn't want aspinall smoke then fair enuf.woulsnt underestimate Jones he wired different
Moicano and/or Dan Hooker would be perfect fights for Paddy next and if he wins would propel him into Top10. After that you have to be very careful with the match making. The issue is Arman, Gamrot, Fiziev, St. Denis, even Jalin Turner are all a similar age to Paddy and he’d have problems against all of these.
And underestimating someone you'd fought before but you forget they've changed camls/teams since last contest. You could see after the 1st interview for this fight that Leon was taking him too lightly.
You'd give Paddy who he asked for if the timing matches up. Do you think Shavkat fights Belal next? Where has he been this year though, he's the only real challenger. If Shavkat and Chamaev had been more active the division could be coming to an amazing crescendo but it's dead!
Aspinall moves like a light heavy weight and the pressure he puts on is immense. Even if hes gauging range hes still bouncing about, popping in and out
The fact tom has promoted himself more than the ufc, baflles me, he should be a superstar, he's runnin through people like tyson in the early days. And he's a great role model, unfortunately good has become bad, bad has become good. . . .but that's whole other conversation 😢
I agree with everything but a prime sea level Cain beats Tom but I’d love to see what happens if Tom goes into round 4 or 5 but that also depends on any opponent. Also Jon is 37 while Tom is in his prime.
Perfect break down on all the fights True Gordie. Jones should have stayed retired instead of thinking he's a mma god in any weight class. Now he looks like a scared fool at HW
