exactly my first thoughts seeing him walk there that right legs toast, what were his options? pull out and not get paid as much or at all, or fall over in the first 10 seconds
Makes so much sense why he came out so fast in the fight. He knew he probably didn’t have much time on that knee and was trying to get him out of there fast
Both are absolutely elite athletes and I'm so excited for this fight, Blaydes never deserved the disrespect he used to get and now they will both display the near if not pinnacle of heavyweights
Curtis and Tom are some of the most chilled guys it seems. Curtis is built like a shed as well. Some guys are big but I can only imagine what grappling with him is like if he has you where he wants you. To swerves his wrestling and he finishes him.
@@OceanBloke I dunno. My coal shed is built out of red brick with a concrete block roof that's been standing 72 years no issues. Any man who doesn't have a proper outbuilding style shed isn't a man. Get a real shed. This isn't France.
Great Sportsmanship MMA is maybe one of the most misunderstood components the unaware masses don't grasp. It's a powerful example of the rare air these fighters share. More alike than different. If only everyone thought that way....
@@SchecterIsKING as a former martial artist myself, I’d like to think the mindset has stayed with me long since the training has slipped my mind! thank you for being one of the people who sees what I’m getting at!
i love when men are aware that their is sort of a reason for them to be in contention but both parties want to break the ice. you can tell in the conversation going overboard because its lke "hey man i respect you man, you're sound, you're a good guy man no disrespect here i think you're a top bloke man" xD
@@srt4853 ofcourse there this. You still stand behind your values and show respect to your oponnent. He's just making money for his family, why do you think fighters have to have some sord of blood hunt on their minds? Good example is with the broken legs recently. We had 2 leg breaks with no followed up punches. Curtis stood back when Aspinali was down. There was another fight I forgot now
@@srt4853 Im sorry mate but thats just the dumbest thing ever. Don't matter the situation, a real man claps for his opponent in victory or defeat, that's what this sport is all about
@@klaidaskauneckas4614 I was talking about awareness, nthng about clapping for ur "opponents", u can't be aware n make money by beating up people. I also watch ufc but don't say they have awareness. awareness is a different thing.
@@Sam-jj1dz Yeah I saw the fight, it was 17 seconds in actually 😅 Depending on what knee injury it is, he very well could be walking on it after. Just because you can’t fight on it, doesn’t mean you can’t walk on it. It was looking stiff in this footage, so I figured he had a brace on his leg. But yeah, I accept that this probably was pre fight. Was this on an Emdeded before the fight?
exactly my first thoughts seeing him walk there that right legs toast, what were his options? pull out and not get paid as much or at all, or fall over in the first 10 seconds
He’s got crazy bowed legs - like an old-school cowboy. He’s a big boy but looks like he needs to get under the squat rack & get some serious meat on his quads, Hammies & calves. As Jon Jones for tips!!
Good luck to Tom and Curtis, I think they'll put on an unbelievable show and both their stocks shoot up, this could possibly be the start of a trilogy, nobody seems to be talking about that 😎
Soo intrigued to see how good Toms takedown defence is, looks on point in training... but this is Curtis Blaydes 🥺. If Tom doesn't win this one then I'm positive he'll get him the 2nd time around 💪
Might wanna think twice before you take down Tom. Honestly, this is a tough fight for Blaydes, cause Tom got THE fastest hands in HW div, prob of all time.
@@fullanarchy I'm proper rooting for Tom, and if Lewis can catch Blaydes on the way in then Tom certainly can. I'm just saying its not the be all and end all for Tom if he doesn't win this one.
Most of the time you see these HW fighters giving each other massive amounts of respect pre-fight, because they both understand the risks involved in heavyweight fighting. These dudes could easily kill each other with one punch, much more so than the other weight classes
Man, I was so ready for this fight. Grabbed my can of coke, and sat down. Stretched and it was over.... hope Aspinall heals up very soon, and they book a rematch. I'd love to see them run it back, and have a full 5 rounds.
Tom makes me feel better and I thought I had fucked up legs Tom is on another level Lol Don’t let anyone tell you different there’s always someone with the same shit or worst
