Tom Cruise and Rebecca Ferguson kissed in Mission Impossible, but it got deleted. 

I would have left the kiss & relationship in for 2 reasons. First, he and his wife went separate ways and separate lives to protect her and give her a chance at another life. Keeping her around is wrong to both. Second, the film fans were watching the development of his new life with another woman capable of not only being his partner, but who was capable of taking care of herself. Yet each found comfort, escape and tenderness in each other; which is difficult in that life. Both deserved that escape. But now that she has been killed off, it leaves a HUGE empty hole in the film series followers. Which is wrong to develop the characters and then to summarily pull the carpet out from under the feet of film followers. Its just wrong.

Tom Cruise and Elsa have good chemistry and they complement each other. I was really sad that Elsa died in the last movie, I hope she comes back and doesn't really die. If she comes back that's really great

In my opinion, it is important to allow the continuation of Elsa's game in Mission Impossible 8 Part II
