@@natturallyfreeriders7545 yeah but I would guess without all the surgery etc he wouldn’t have half as many fans/worshippers - I mean it’s ridiculous the amount of attention he gets just because he looks good and does a job he’s good at just to entertain people . What about people who do infinitely more important jobs like doctors and nurses police etc who only get a tiny fraction of the pay he gets and non of the attention awards fame female attention mansions cars etc etc what about volunteers who work for no pay . What about all the people behind the scenes who use their skills and talents to make the movie happen - they just get mentioned in the credits . So no you justify that !

This video should make for a valuable lesson for us men. We can diss him all we want about his height, scientology, etc., but none of that is going make any difference. @@karkowaw True. A lot of us men (albeit) sub-conciously feel a need to prove amongst one another that we're the alpha-male. Height is one of the tools we use to promote that. When a regular guy sees Tom Cruise in public, and an entourage of his female fans, in their mind the females should be turning their attention to him because he's taller. Tom Cruise is not inconvenienced by his height in practical terms. It's purely a visual thing. How he looks standing next to a tall female, etc.

I saw the interview with Kate Hudson on Ellen. She never said she had a huge crush on Tom Cruise. She was telling a story about how he crashed her and her brother's party when their parents Goldie and Kurt weren't home. A lot of this seems like words being put into their mouths in the summary, while the clip is them complimenting a working with the huge co-star.

This is why I can only partly but the Brendan Friaser downfall, the part where his body is screwed and ravaged from all the stunt work and heavy activity... yea, Tom blows his own trumpet a lot but he’s active as hell and does loads of his own stunt work so by that rationale should be in a wheelchair by now?

Brendan Friaser downfall was not because of stunt work......his downfall was from depression you should look into it.

@Kevin S. I tend to agree with you. At his age he should start slowing down and defer more to the stunt men. When you have a bad accident in your 50’s and 60’s it can be far worse than at a younger age.
