Frankie Oberholzer leads a quiet, contented life near Durban, where he fishes and surfs, along with his son Koby, whenever possible.
Miklos Sandor Dora III (August 11, 1934 - January 3, 2002), known professionally as Miki Dora, was a noted surfer of the 1950s and 1960s in Malibu, California. Dora received numerous nicknames and aliases during his life, including "Mickey Dora," "The Black Knight," "The Gypsy darling," "Malibu Mickey," "Kung'Bu," "the Fiasco Kid," "El Taquache," and "Da Cat."
Derek Hynd is a bright, articulate and radical Australian pro surfer, surfboard maker and writer from Newport, New South Wales; he lost his vision in one eye after his leash caused his board to bounce back at his face- that was in 1980. World-ranked #7 in 1981.
