Tom Dick and Harry were one of the finest San Francisco bands of the Acid Jazz era.
Incorporating northern soul, Philly soul, UK street soul and jazz funk, they put it all together with masterful musicianship, nicely crafted soul songs and a captivating live show. Between 1991 and 1997, TDH played many venues including The Great American Music Hall, Bimbo's, Slim's, 330 Ritch Street, Ajax Lounge and the Elbo Room.
Comprised of four core members - Jon Waters (vocals/keys), Steve Burke (vocals/guitar), Craig Garvey (bass) and Ihor Pacholuk (drums), TDH often incorporated horns and percussion to their sound and filled the stage with a magic touched upon by few. Check out their album, BLUE, released in 1996 featuring the great Phil Upchurch and 10 can't miss soul tracks including Pennies From Heaven, I'll Be There and Rain Song.
In September 2013, The Revival SF celebrates "25 Years of Acid Jazz" and we are excited to bring back Tom Dick and Harry for
