I always wonder if this is just a habit of his/part of his personality or if it's something he only does with fans because he knows it makes them feel special. It's so sweet with fans, but I feel like it could get obnoxious and kind of bordering on patronizing if he just calls every female person he talks to throughout the day "my darling" and "my love."
I don't think he's patronizing women and if it comes across as that it's obviously unintentional. I believe he does it to like make his fans feel special and appreciated.
The actor who portrays one of the most famous and nastiest kid from Slytherin got sorted into Gryffindor. No wonder the internet broke because of that. Hahahaha.
his loyalty still lies with slytherin and when someone asked him in which house he was a couple of months ago he said slytherin and also wouldn't mind slytherdor
I guess his ex was a jealous & possessive girl that he can't even give a fan service hug, nor played along with the isolated island question. Let alone talk about Hermione or Emma. He hardly ever mentioned her compare to him in these recent years, after breaking with that person. Now he likes mentioning Emma/Hermoine, goofing abt her almost at all times. He even came up with Hermoine song, and wud freely hug a fan if they ask. I think he's much happier now than at this time when he had too many restraints
The amount of love I have for Tom isn’t even funny. He’s so respectful and patient with his fans, he’s amazing. He is an AMAZING actor. He can portray people you’re supposed to hate amazingly, but in real life he’s a humble, sweet little softie that anyone would want to talk to and hug. Hope to meet him one day, dang. He’s just amazing.
Its so cool how Tom is kinda nervous and shy but also very happy too ... he is just such a sweet and lovely person ♥ its almost hard to believe that he likes to act like someone rude and mean ...
Wow, it really does make me feel old, too, to realize that some fans weren't even born when the first movie came out. I think J.K.'s explanation is quite good about why the fandom doesn't stop. I grew up with Harry Potter. I was just 9 years old when the first movie came out and I can still remember going to the cinema with my mom and I was so excited about it. From that point onwards it accompanied me during my childhood and adolescence. I was always more or less around the same age as the characters and therefore I could identify myself very well with them, their joys and their struggles. I also remember watching the last movie in cinema. That was pretty emotional knowing that's it, there will be no more new movies, no more books. for me it also kind of meant that my childhood was over. Therefore I really like to reread the book and rewatch the films because they also remind me of my childhood & adolescence and what it was like. I consider myself very lucky having grown up with Harry Potter. I think it's really great that even much younger people are discovering Harry Potter and getting passionate about the series. A lot of other stuff has come and gone but HP seems to have a passionate fanbase that is always present. I hope that my future children will also be able to enjoy the books as much as I have and always will. BTW; sorry for this long and kind of emotional post. Just wanted to get this out of my chest when hearing Tom talking about this stuff :)
I was 8 when the 6th movie came out, and my brother was a Harry Potter obsessed 15 year old so I guess I grew up with it. I was 3 months and 6 days old when the first movie came out LMAO
Is it me or he is not happy in this interview? Sorry if I'm wrong , but I think this is the year he broke up, maybe he was having a hard time with his ex. , in his other interviews he was so happy, especially his recent interviews
I actually just watched it again and never before realized the little boy was him, but i saw this time. I still think it's funny that he had ginger hair, and that may be why I didn't recognize him until now because i'm so used to seeing with blond hair.
