Hi Lexi! Thank you for featuring all these recently released items - especially the highly coveted Cafe Rose blush. I now understand the hype. It’s not available here so I am putting it out of my mind. (I recently purchased a few of the reformulated Chanel singles and I like how the matte shades perform but I miss the talc.) Your skin looks fabulous!
Thank you for all you do, Lexi. You are undoubtedly the hardest-working influencer. Cannot tell you how much I hate that EL acquired TF. My all-time favorite cream blush is Pink Sands, and I would KILL for EL/TF to re-release this blush in its original formula.
@@jackie-minjiewu5483 - Pink Sands is the perfect pinky coral on my skin and the formula contains the most beautiful, undetectable sheen. ***Raises Fist *** Curse you, Estee Lauder!
15K soon! 🙌 The blush is warmer than it seemed. I think the packaging skews the color. It looks amazing on so many skin tones. Very wearable and flexible. I’ve looked at phytosurgence many times. Thanks for including them.
I just bought the mineralscape palette by byredo, love it but tap your brush - I was humming and ahhing about the brow pencil. Bought the neela neela kajal kohl pencil, gorgeous and I also have the traditional black. I had a similar taupe brow pencil by Tom Ford, couldn't believe it, it was around 6 months old and just turned completely white, all the taupe pigment vanished! I always replace caps properly. I bought the Ash Jones Road brow pencil, not tried it yet. Think I'll always go for a pencil in future. I like the new benefit soft grey except it isn't soft grey at all and you need a very light hand. Enjoyed video and demos as usual plus the swatches. Thought I'd also mention, as I'm chatty today 😉, the Laura Mercier creme blush in praline. I think you would like that Lexi but it's not a new product
I kid you not, I was just wondering which of the new Phytosurgence shadows to pick up last night! This was so timely for me!!! I’m getting Precious Pollen and Spirited Seedling after seeing your eye swatches. I feel like both would be a pretty base for the Byredo Mineralscapes palette in addition to being worn alone. I have very oily lids so I’ll report back. The older formula lasts very well on my lids. I absolutely LOVE the Candy Glaze. I’ve had 5-6 shades but 3 have remained in my regular re-purchase when gone rotation (02, 14, 15). The Love Shine formula is too thin for my preference. It’s fine but not my favorite. I’d like to try this new Butter Balm just to compare! “It goes beyond the visible” is a very poetic way to charge $50 for a clear lip gloss. I have to give Byredo for trying that maneuver, but no. 😂😂😂😂😂
I love the green from Phytosurgence but since I'm in Europe, I'm not going to chase around the Globe for it. I may need Charlotte Tilbury to come up with a green with her eyes to mesmerise. I will have a look at the Beyredo brown and lip products though, I am definitely Sand' and so many brands only do ashy colours, lip-gloss, not sure...I am on the look out for a hot-pink lipstick...
Ooh, I need to swatch some of my DVN lipsticks. I think I have a bright pink in there! I'm just waiting for the new shades to show up in the US so I can have a complete video.
@@LexiJong Excellent! If you have any comparisons with any Hermes pinks that are still available I would be grateful - I think you have all the Ltd Eds, they're still available. atm.
Hi Lexi , I got the tom ford blush and really love it and hope they will come with more color in the same formula. For the eyebrows pencil I bought the VB based on your review and how good it look on you and I am not looking back it is my holy grail now removing Gucci powder pencil which I loved for so long. 🥰
Hi Lexi, fantastic review and commentary on so many well tested products! Given your incredibly busy schedule, it's quite the task for you to test everything so thoroughly which is beyond appreciated, but please don't feel you have to work overtime, as a first impression from you with end of month mention could save you a lot of time. Anyhow, thank you for all you do and yes, I too love the new phytosurgence shades I picked up as well as the revised formula which seems more emollient yet still lasts on the lids. My older ones still work but they are more firmly pressed in the pan so it requires more swirl rotations lol. The two in the older formula that I will probably re-pick up in the revised formula along with new items in the near future are fractal freesia and lunar lightwave. For some reason my ones just seem to be of a stiffer, waxier formula perhaps because they have the most glitter in them, I'm not sure. Anyhow, I've always loved the phytosurgence blushes and their eye products and have nothing but high praise. 🥰❤️
I really like the Phytosurgence colours and the new formula is excellent. My eyelids are textured and I find the new shadows stay put very well. I always wear an eye cream and I’m kind of glad I don’t have to worry about these shadows slipping on my lids if I happen to rush through my skin prep.
I love those Photosurgence colors and I think I will pick up some of those shades ❤ the wild wisteria shade was one of my favorite so I’m happy to add to my collection. Thank you for showcasing all of these products it’s always so helpful and exciting when I see another video from you. If the Tom ford blush was a different shade maybe a little cooler and mauvier I might have gotten it but I’m glad it’s not because that is way too much for a cream product that I know I won’t go through before it expires.
Hi Lexi! The TF looks blush looks so natural (on you) and could be used daily. I just ordered a new blush/powder duo from Patrick Ta that reminds me of this shade in Tom Ford. I haven’t ordered anything from TF since he sold the company to Estee’ Lauder in 2023. I do have two cream blush shades from Cle de Peau - one is Fig - nice - but not remarkable. I still like Westman Atelier most for cream blush. I have Petal, Dou Dou and Mimi. It’s like picking a favorite child - I love them all. Great comparison video - especially those Phytosurgence eye shades!
Ancient Acres and Hypnotic Honey and Precious Pollen are all calling me 😅. Thank you for the comparisons of the YSL and Sisley balms and persevering through lip balm overload!! My search for my tinted lip balm for summer continues -- I read that Experiment Beauty is coming out with tinted shades of their Softwear -- which I have in clear and is the greatest lip balm I've ever tried so I'm holding out for more info there.
I'm planning on doing that one when I get a chance. I have a ton of releases to go through first though. I'm a bit behind schedule since life has been kind of crazy recently.
Hoping Tom Ford comes out with a more cool toned cream blush., but need to pass on this one because it is too warm for me. Of the Phytosurgence, is one of them cooler toned, like more taupe leaning? I’d be willing to check out the new formula. I do really like the YSL Candy Glazes. I didn’t order any of the balms because I have so many of the others, but maybe I’ll try one. Thanks for another great video, Lexi!
Botanical Breeze, Mellow Mycelium, and Spirited Seedling are the coolest shades but they are really more neutral than truly cool toned. Mellow Mycelium is the most taupe of this collection.
@@LexiJong Oh Good! I went with Mellow Mycellium! I also picked up one of their Rose undertones bronzers - I think #2! I hope the new formula is creamier. I ended up having to declutter all my older ones b/c they dried out.
Hi Lexi- I am really liking these new YSL Balms - I picked up nude pleasure & really like this formula vs the YSL Volupte shine products. I’ve been wearing a lot more balms- including the Guerlain lip balms. I hear in this video that you do too! 😊 I wanted to try the phytosurgence cream shadows but they are $$$ and the shipping is, too.
I really like the balms! You may want to double check the prices on the phytosurgence. The cream shadows are about $15 USD but the default setting is not in that currency so perhaps they aren't as expensive.
All so beautiful! Thank you for such an outstanding review Lexi! The Sisley lip balms look beautiful as does the cream blush and cream eyeshadows. Thank you so much!!
I had to get the Tom ford blush. I didn’t want a $100 blush at first then I saw the swatches online and it was over 😂😅 then come to see it switches almost perfectly with couchette and I have that shade 😩 lol but I think on the cheeks it’s a pretty different color couchette is pink beige on the cheeks where the TF blush is def more terracotta with a hint of beige in all the demos I have seen of the color. I still love it 😃 almost gave me a heart palpitation there girl lol
Thanks Lexi!👏👏👏 I definitely want to pick up some Phytosurgence shades. I swatched the TF cream blush at Neimans last week. I really love it, but holding off for some kind of a discount.🙃
I'm sure it will be included in a sale now. Neimans has a gift card deal going on now and it's there but you might be able to get a better deal if you keep waiting.
@@LexiJong I checked a lot of swatches online... and it looks very me. Been searching for a soft cream blush and had ordered Makeup By Mario Barely Blushing from Sephora and was going to pick it up today... but instead ordered this on NM and canceled the MBM order. Soo glad you posted because I've only seen 2 other people with very fair skin post... and only one had a similar undertone. You and I have an almost identical skin tone. 👍
@@LexiJong Okay so I love the blush but Nubile is going back to Sephora because it is an orangey red on me... and I don't love the formula. That said, I just placed an order for Chanel Rouge Coco Bloom in Dream. Thinking I should like that better because I love Chanel and my all time favorite foundation and concealer are Chanel... and these were my first Tom Ford. Wondering if you've tried the lipstick shade Mademoiselle by chance... and if so do you like it?
Hi Lexi, love TF blush. I don’t have too many cream blushes. Don’t have this type of shade as well. So definitely getting it. The eyeshadows and lip glosses, I don’t need. I don’t think I have any TF lipstick. I was looking at re promoted , I believe Nobile , to go with this blush. What is your opinion on that lipstick? Thx Lexi and have a blessed day🙏❤️
Hi Lexi. Thanks for another great video! Do you have any of the Rose Inc. blushes to which you could compare the Tom Ford? I'm thinking maybe Heliotrope or Daylily.
Hi Lexi !! I love the look of the TF blush , but I have WA in chouchette so thanks for the comparisons swatches 😊 money saved . The phytosurgence shadows look stunning I’m not sure if we can get hold of these in the UK ? Or where they ship ? 🤗❤️
I have a question..on my monitor you look fair with cool undertones. That is what I am. But, I see that you wear a lot of warm toned products. Am I doing it wrong and am I seeing her skin tone correctly?
I am fair with neutral undertones that lean cool but since my skin is more neutral with cooler overtones, i can wear a mix of tones near neutral on the spectrum.
I am curious if you know of any blushes comparable to the Clé de Peau cream blushes? The ND Glam face palette blush comes close in my opinion, but I’d like to know more 🤞
Not really, the westman atelier formula is drier and obviously in a different type of container but the formulas are kind of similar and have a similar finish on the skin. I gave away my face palette so I can't compare those but that might be a good comparison.
Lexi how long lasting is Tom ford compared to Westman atelier. Any noticeable differences in formula. I was eyeing to ford but it’s very close to chouchette which I own along with Mimi and other cream sticks. Is it worth getting if you own chouchette 🤔🤔🤔
Hi Lexi !! I have WA in Chouchette so thank you for the comparisons money saves for me 😊. I love the look of these shadows but I’m in the UK so not sure 🤔 where they stock them ? 🤗❤️😊
I love phytosergence but I just wish some of those eyeshadows were a bit more different in shades. It does save me some money though. I won’t be buying all of the shades.
