Tom ford was my favorite creative director for gucci. It really sucks they gave him the boot so early due to not making the sales criteria (edit: i was wrong. read Shots reply for the truth. main synopsis for tom ford leaving and starting his own brand)

Tom Ford left because he didn’t get the control he wanted, he actually revived the Gucci brand and brought in billions. I don’t think it has anything to do with sales.

It’s always bizarre to see people start speaking in a completely different accent that what you know. I reconnected with a friend that I had not talked to in a while and when we met up, she had a thick Midwest accent. We are from Texas😂 I just kept thinking why are you talking like this, I’ve known you forever girl. Lol

The movie, House of Gucci, glossed over how brilliant Tom Ford was for Gucci....this award was not mentioned, and all credit due to Gucci for hiring an American for their turnaround. It's a pity the accountants took over a couture designer.
