Thanks for the comparison to the Byredo Remembrance palette! I bought that, and it wasn't initially obvious to me how many colors the Byredo palette had that could dupe both TF palettes...wow! Your ranking of all the new TF palettes also was really helpful to put all these similar, new releases into perspective. In terms of whether they're a rip off, I would spend the money ONLY IF a particular quad was special and gave a unique look -- sometimes TF comes out with something really special, and other times it's just a regular eyeshadow quad with the TF name. So I appreciate it when you can help us distinguish between a special TF quad that's worth the $90. 😊
Tropical Dusk is really calling to me. 😍Wow it’s so gorgeous… And now I see why! I LOVE my Forbidden Pink. Your detailed video and comparisons have truly helped me once again. I’m not going to get Tropical Dusk because I have Forbidden Pink and Remembrance and I love their formulas (And I have Divine Rose, My Dream, and Mini Biba for that matter. I love all of these formulas so I’m good).
Your videos really make it easy to decide which I want to buy. I love your detail that you give us. I am going to skip the TF to get the esum shimmer palette. I have the esum matte palette, but I want the shimmer palette.

Your reviews are so helpful! You are so honest in noting the ups and downsides in a product and not afraid to say if you think it is overpriced. I am seriously contemplating buying the Tropical Dusk palette. I love the Hazy Sensuality palette and think I would be a big fan of this one as well, so I am considering purchasing this one. I am not a fan of warm palettes and just put a bunch of them on Posh that I have never used - not even once, so I don't buy them anymore. Personally, I tend to use the smaller TF and 5-Pan Dior Palettes over the larger ND and other large palettes. They just are more compact and travel friendly. I do wish they contained a bright inner corner or highlight shade for under the brow but I just carry a MAC single to fill that need and it lasts forever. Thanks again.

Thank you for your reviews. I preordered the eyeshadow quads from Bergdorf Goodman and according to them, it should arrive to me by July 7th. I absolutely love the copper/gold colors as it suits my tanned olive skin. I'm interested to see how similar the copper colors in Island Haze is to Chanel's 2022 Fall Tweed Fauve since it looks similar. I've passed on the rest of the Soleil collection since I prefer the Pat McGrath and Dior highlighters.

I recently bought Tropical Dusk and it is very worth it for me. Even in my large collection of quads (Chantecaille, Chanel, PMG, Surratt, Charlotte, the list goes on…) this is the only powder shadow that didn’t crease or move by the end of the day on my oily lids. I used MAC Paint Pot to prime, which usually does not prevent shadow breakdown all day for me, and shadow was perfect all day. I think it might be because of the good ol’ fashioned talc and kaolin in the formula, which likely is good for my oily lids. In fact, I like the quad so much, I think I am going to get Island Haze. These are just so easy and high performing for me.
Your eyes look beautiful based on the colors in the first palette (Tropical Dusk)! Island Haze look is beautiful also. I think I prefer Tropical Dusk though.

I picked up the highlighter in Oasis absolutely love it and the tropical dusk but I have found many many of his pallets at the Cosmetics Company including the limited edition ones I’ve gotten several there for a fraction of the price! Great review!
Tysm for this video, the comparisons are so helpful and detailed! I skipped forbidden pink cuz of the creme formula and glad to know Tropical dusk has a similar range of shades but drier formula. I’ve just preordered it and can’t to try it out myself.

Tropical Dust is a very summery, copper palette. Even though I prefer shimmery shadows of Tom Ford, I think this palette is a success. I am not really interested in the second palette, I already have another similar Tom Ford palette, it is enough.
Again, currently Tropical Dusk currently not available in the Netherlands, only 4(!!!) of the Island Haze quads left. US and UK retailers say that they don't ship these to Amsterdam. I'm officially giving up on anything Tom Ford limited edition and even the regular quads are getting harder to find. I'm disappointed I can't participate in the excitement of these launches. Still have regrets about not being able to get my hands on Forbidden Pink.

I need to defend really light skinned gals: we almost ever get ignored in eye shadows, and I usually need to buy monos to get a base colour. So it's good to find a quad with a proper light colour :D I prefer the pinkish one, thought. Regarding the lipstick... 60 dollars? I will get my YSL bold instead, thank you! :D
