Fanimation founder Tom Frampton gives a tour of the Antique Fan Collectors Association Antique Fan Museum housed at the Fanimation headquarters in Zionsville, Indiana. Tom also give some background on the founding of Fanimation, Inc.
Never mind. Got lucky and found an early 80s replica of one of those. Mr. Frampton's Fan-Lite is the most common model, but it has a rare finish (most were brass) and an amazing personal history attached to it.
Cool! And I love that fact that some that were in good condition were merely cleaned up and left un-restored. I was surprised that it wasn't stated that those hot air fans employed Stirling engines. Nice story and nice video though!
I'm drooling over that old Midwest Fan-Lite he shows when explaining the copied Air Shadow. Just barely missed buying one a few years ago for $125, and still kicking myself.

If yes, when? if not why?
