I've been looking for this for a while. Watched it like 10 years ago and got wasted. The best interview/podcast. Steve o almost at his worst and tom green doing a podcast years before it was even invented
This would've been sad and depressing if Steve didn't make it or was still using, but since he's sober and doing well, it's a mix of hilarious and interesting to see what that kind of life is like.
I watched this as it happened, I never thought in a million years steve O would be sober I'm not a fan anymore but I'll tell you its a miracle. I miss the old internet some of the shit you could see was just amazing.
after 1:29:56 is actually fucking badass . like not in a cheesy way or shit, but just drunk and high af failing over and over - does a whippet and instantly nails it. Legend
I love how every time Steve-O actually says something that's pretty smart or insightful he's also screwing on another charger, and as soon as he's finished talking he proceeds to take a gnarly whippit lol. Glad he's sober now, but some of his old antics are still hilarious.
The way they kept taking calls and saying "Hello, you're on the air! He-Hello?! You're on-you're on the air. Hello." then aggressively ignoring them, talking over them, or just hanging up on them only to do the same thing again was absolutely hysterical. This just kept devolving more and more into utter chaos.
Holy shit you’re a legend for having recorded these & uploading them all these years later. I remember watching the first 10 or 15 episodes of the show & I would’ve watched them all forever if my internet connection was as good as it is today. This is history, appreciate ya
@@shadcovert1160 Doing at least 100 whippits and chugging tequila while smoking weed, plus they definitely did some coke during those "water breaks." Yeah man not bad at all O.o.
@1:35:45 is the great untalked about moment... I mean a 6 year old calls in and Steve-o unintentionally says "that's minor" the timing is to good not to post in the comments
The reverse. Posted a link to this on the comment section for the Dave England appearance on the podcast requesting for Tom Green to be on and talk about this appearance
And the epic coke ring around his nostril when they zoom in to show his crowns at 51:22 They hold the camera there and it's plain as day around his right nostril. Didn't even attempt to wipe it. Dude was a SAVAGE lol
Watched this shit so many times !!!! Its like rewatching a good movie for the thousandth time.. EDIT: Fortunate and happy to see Steve-O alive, much better and sober!
This is the greatest thing I’ve ever watched, but I don’t want to share it with anyone in fear it will get removed off RU-vid if the wrong people find it.
I feel so bad for Tom. This is getting out of control but he is such a nice guy he can’t real Steveo back in. Great content though, I just feel bad that his house and table are getting fucked up when Tom wasn’t making any money putting on this show
@@comedicsketches I’ve listened to a lot of Tom Green and I heard him say that he couldn’t figure out how to monetize the show because the concept was so new that advertisers didn’t understand the value of a show in someone’s living room back then. He eventually shut the show down because he was tearing up his house and not making enough money to cover the damages and make it worth it for him to do anymore. I’m sure he stopped for many reasons, but I heard him say that specifically. I don’t have sources, I can’t remember where he said it.
@@comedicsketches I’m not sure, but if you find more hopefully you can let me know so I can check them out also. I love this vintage content. I’m also a big fan of old Love Line episodes, you may enjoy those. They have a similar feel, especially when they have celebrity guests.
@@davidsvenstrup6688 you know you're a loser when you're like "this dude's off drugs hes not cool anymore" saying shit like this just proves you're not cool.
I snuck my step father's copy of road trip and watched it on my brothers PS2 connected to our CRTV back in uhh 2005? I never realized tom green was the snake guy until now
I'm sure Carson was having a hard time not going off on Steve O and just throwing him out the door and down the mountain.Glad he got his shit together.
Hes trys to double kickflip the coffee table like 8 times and finally lands it immediately after doing a whip it. Shows you where his head was at that time. Completely dependent on the nitrous oxide.
I feel like there may have been even more of this... was this the same episode where later they put some CDs in a microwave? Or maybe that was another one. Either way I remember watching these live and loving the utter anarchy. It's bad now to see people destroying themselves like this but my teenage self loved it - it was on brand with the whole Jackass/Tom Green thing.
There was I think. I believe about 2 or 3 hours more... that was only showed when live. This is the on demand version. I think the microwave thing happened later this night. I remember them cuttting the feed and popping back in throughout the night. If I remember correctly. I could be wrong. I know this only lived in the on demand section for a day or two and was never seen again until now.
Came here to post the same thing. I remember a long-since deactivated YT channel (with an almost complete TGL archive) having a rip of this episode that went 4+ hours. The cameras eventually got turned back on sans crew (which happened often,) with Tom being pretty whacked out too by that point. The whole thing devolved into them doing some truly petty stunts late into the morning, haha. The CDs in the microwave thing, more condiment snorting, etc. Really grateful that this rip exists, although the full version is easily some of my favorite "internet stuff." Crazy how almost all of the TGL content is basically lost media at this point.
