I saw him in Finsbury Park waiting on a bus. I was convinced it couldn’t be him cos he is massively famous so why would he be getting public transport- then someone went up to him and asked for a picture - when he looked up I knew it was for sure. Would have loved a bit of ‘ow-ere’ or however one would spell it, most people use it up north and I find it very endearing. Northern slang usually very subtle, gentle and harmless apposed to the rather cringe and over the top slang of which isn’t really british, more Caribbean nonsense, ‘peng’ doesn’t even have a logical origin that most BRITISH slang tends to have

In my area it's used for boys/girls/food you enjoy and even if you had a nice time doing something. Never heard of it only being a word to rate attractive girls.
