Is it just me who can kinda hear Tom sounding like DMX after he says “ Venom’s like a dog…”? The way he plays with his voice and the cadence reminds me of X.
Absolutely. Got to hand it to T tho. Approached that pile as serious and committed as any major league project. Always astonishing how a Script gets to the shooting stage and nothing better was demanded. Many rewrites for sure and still- hope he at least financed Taboo 2 with it if nec. Needs must.
I just don't understand how they dropped the ball so badly with Carnage -- that could have been an award-nominated role for Harrelson if done correctly and yet it seemed to be little more than a wet fart. Despite that, you're right that Hardy approached this trilogy like his life depended on it -- as if he was a fresh fish out of water and absolutely needed to put 110% into the role. I suppose I can't knock him for the dedication because that is literally what carried these movies, but man... you're so right about the poor script quality.
I have been one who can pull an answer out of my sit-upon and make it sound legit, this seems like 💯 percent legit. He ga e his voices actual thought and care to ensure that it comes across the way HE wants it. Both voices are so distinct and knows how to slip in and out of them. This is a large reason why voice actors can be called ACTORS, care and thought. In my book, this man IS a voice actor in every sense. Bravo, Tom
I'm way more into his explanation of how his Venom performance takes shape than the movie itself. Fantastic actor, absolutely dogshit movies (Venom franchise).
@@Mindfuck36 Not really -- the dynamic of the characters was cool, and Tom's acting was absolutely top notch but the plot and pacing was all over the place.
@@Billy-bc8pk not quite -- i'm not saying its a well made movie i'm saying it has something special. it's fun and and feels like a throwback to comic book movies before the MCU, unburdened by the safe yet stale template which all of those movies share
@@idontevenlikemoney Yes I think you're right, the interviewer did ask some entrancing and engrossing questions that were both captivating and prepossessing Not to mention the whole interview itself was enthralling and enchanting, some would say stimulating and even thought provoking 😳
It’s too bad Venom has turned into a joke. It’s very close to what Marvel did with The Hulk which was turning him into a weak comical side character who is far from his origins in the comics.
I think the Venom movies are so so bad its amazing to me the length to which a studio would go to produce such a load of garbage That being said - Tom Hardy is amazing in them He is the soul possible reason ghat I would ever endure a second watch of that excrement
