I mean, when you are naturally good looking, the only thing you need to do to be cool is have a somewhat decent personality and some presence. Just saying
I've always gotten such soft, cuddly vibes from Tom, & the fact that he loves animals so much is such a bonus. An absolute sweetheart is really the perfect description for this man.
Tom Hardy looks tough and sexy af but seems like a sweet teddy bear. And he has the sexiest voice, the cutest laugh and a beautiful accent. And he's friends with Leonardo DiCaprio so he's probably really awesome. I'm in love!
he plays the greatest insane characters.. watch his show the take or bronson & in peaky blinders he was a legend... cant wait for Taboo on FX.. but i totally get your comment
lord .. he's an art ... look at that body, them tattoos, that face, lips, smile .. his voice makes u want him to scream your name .. and that hair thooo
No matter what you think of Alan Carr, there's no denying that he got a better interview out of Tom than anyone. I have never seen Tom so engaged in an interview and laugh so much (unless he's with a costar he likes, then he ignores the interviewer to joke around with them). Well done Alan.
If Heath Ledger was still alive and if I was directing movies, I would SO make a movie starring him and Hardy. It would be like bringing back Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Ledger and Hardy would've made an incredible duo.
Believe it or not, this Yank had never seen Alan Carr before this video. Such a RELIEF, Alan is - Stateside, there's SO MUCH bitchery on "talk TV..." (viciousness which always but always poses as uber-cool cleverness but, IMO, is simply tiresome and stupid). Alan just seems SO kind (!) and so very, very gentle and charming (!). Hysterically funny, too. (Goes without saying, perhaps, that I love, love, love Tom Hardy. First saw him in "Stuart, A Life Backwards" - with Benedict Cumberbatch - and was absolutely mesmerized by his talent. Then I went back and caught him in "Layer Cake," "Nemesis," "The Virgin Queen," "Oliver Twist," etc. - and much of what he's done since. Wuthering Heights sealed the deal. Been a true fan ever since)!!
He put the award down on the floor instead of the table that would make everyone see that's just a little thing that warms my heart knowing he's a really humble guy
this is one of the best interviews I've seen with Tom Hardy. He's delicious in every way. can't get enough of Mr. Hardy. Look forward to things to come for him.
You can tell he is reserved, reclusive, introverted, and humble. Awesome guy. Much respect. Almost as much respect as Leo, Bale, Day-Lewis, Nicholson, De Niro, Pacino, Washington, and Brando.
aw this was the best and only interview ive seen where tom hardy is genuinely having a great time, smiling and laughing and just having fun. Good for him. What a great host
he's said previously (early on in his career) that he gets anxiety and isn't comfortable in a lot of settings--it isn't a shame--it's just the way things are and he's aware of it so that's a huge amt of the work done in overcoming the anxiety. anyway, this is the first show where i heard him laugh this way at some of carr's jokes. it's really great. :)
He's soooo cute ommmggg. "I'm actually a big softy" "that's why I'm covered in tattoos" *collapses into the sofa* IM CRYIN HOW CUTE I DIE !!!! Ok, maybe he's not gay but just a lil softy
Tom looks a bit nervous still (all the swallowing), but he also looks way more relaxed and happy than I've seen him in other talk shows. Alan seems to really set him at ease.
