He is British..he has a vocal coach. He is primarily in American accent roles

***** a pro who showed up three hours late to set every day and held up the entire cast and crew. (this according to the director of photography.) i love hardy but he threw a massive fit on the set of the movie, clashed with miller, and alienated himself from everyone else (including theron, who hated him). i wouldn't say he's a pro. gifted actor? definitely. but if his behavior doesn't improve, more filmmakers will begin to wonder whether it's worth the risk to cast him in one of their films. (he has a history of clashes with filmmakers; he threw a fit on the set of 'bronson' and swore never to work with refn again; he had punch-outs with numerous actors and directors; etc.)

+johnulcer Tom is said to be a little difficult to work with and we don't know for sure how everyone felt about the situation. To give everyone some credit, they were all in the desert working hard to bring someone else's image to life the best they could. They're human, I'm sure they had their occasional rifts.

Leo, Will Smith, Eddie Redmayne(yes again) etc. but Tom HArdy has had numerous roles over the past years he could have been nominated for and won: Warrior, Bronson, The Drop, Locke, etc. But yeah I am excited for Revenant too. Tarantino's Hateful Eight could potentially make some noise too...

BatmanFANizationReborn Will has a movie called Concussion coming out on Christmas Day its about this Dr. who investigates how American football players suffer from major head injuries and life-long debiliating problems as a result of repeated concussions and efforts by the National Football League (NFL) to deny it. Eddie has a film called The Danish Girl comng in November. Personally, I think the Academy is a little TOO giving to British films sometimes- but hey if its a good movie to them thats all that matters i guess....

***** Tom's got a really diverse output and eclectic tastes, same with George Miller. It's great to see that he loves collaborating, representing the crew and stunt team in particular like that. A mate who went to the Sydney opening (with the vehicles from the film) said I have to go see this movie. At this rate there'll be a big movie almost every month of 2015 that I'd consider checking out in the cinema.

adambman2 You have GOT to see Mad Max asap, it blew my mind. It is incredible how he was really able to portray a very complex and interesting character even though he had few speaking lines, his actions and facial expressions spoke volumes. It was a great performance. Charlize Theron killed it too . I actually think I am going to see it again in theaters, it is the best movie of the summer so far

Guuh, it's always a great surprise to chat with you! haha, I get what you mean about that performance style, and you can trace it back to the 'dollars'/'man with no name' trilogy of westerns by Sergio Leone, which made Clint Eastwood famous. Have you heard of them? They're worth a look if you're into older movies, having influenced Star Wars as well as George Miller

***** Tom Hardy was awesome in this. I like how Max goes from using grunts and expressions only to learning how to speak again. He really sounds like someone re-adapting to human communication.
