She does not have a talent for this job. Starts interview on a negative and keeps descending. Goldblum was generous and then thankfully Tom saved him by stepping in. Her producers need to train her, or fire her.

fay guled He’s not awkward he’s just insanely nice and comes off as awkward because he’s one of the few celebs who actually cares about his fans. When he signs autographs he makes sure to look every fan in the eye and say “Hello” and asks them how their day was, he said he doesn’t want to treat fans like they are just lesser people than him or something along the lines of that. Very Humble dude

+Samir Uddin tom's explanation during the interview with elizabeth olsen is that he is an actor and his done doing impressions (this is as much as i remember as i havent seen that interview for over a week now) i could understand it as another actor i follow has a really good variety image and that sometimes means the directors dont give him other roles so maybe for tom and his PR team they want to remove the impressions now so that the other directors would take him seriously or something

Tom Hiddleston always comes across as a down to earth guy with his faults and vulnerabilities. Why can't he have a bit of fun like doing the occasional impersonations? He doesn't do it to insult anyone. His PR could spend their time more wisely rather than dictate his interviews and being asked the same questions over and over again, he injects some humanity into what must be the most tedious of duties.

@@r6854 I guess it's just what we're used to. In the UK we hear so many Americans on TV and film that even the heavier American accents are pretty commonplace. I guess there aren't too many Bristolians in the TV shows and movies that make it across the pond in the other direction! I live in Scotland so I'm used to Americans (and others) struggling with the likes of Frankie Boyle when he just sounds like everyone I know! 😂 And his accent isn't that thick for Scotland! Some Scottish movies have been subtitled for US audiences 😂

@@ChrisFineganTunes Accents are odd, I grew up overseas (Middle East). All of the kids spoke with almost no accent at all, but all of our parents had accents. None of the kids could 'hear' their own parents' accents, but were always surprised to hear the voice of your friends' parents. It was always, 'Wow, so your family is really Irish/Scottish/English/Indian/Italian/Spanish/etc.'

what a mess of an interview, she wasn't asking any questions and kept facing the mic to goldblum, and he just kept saying something to save the conversation before tom came to set loose the tension a bit. if she was interviewing bill burr she was done.

I thought she was loud and rude. I get that there in the UK but she knows he's American and the accent might be a little harder to understand. I was having trouble with it and I watch a lot of British shows. Im glad it didnt get him down, probably cause he's super nice, but he's doing her a favor and all she can do is make dumb irrelevant remarks.

Uncomfortable. I love Goldblum though because its instantly obvious that he was raised with manners. He's polite and is really truly a decent, good, well mannered good guy.
