Very humble kid. I have nothing but hype for Tom.

He sounds like a really smart guy who's actually greatful for this chance that he's been given! Here's to hoping that he ends up being the definitive Spider-Man for at least a decade. It would be amazing if the current twelveyearolds grew up with a comic book accurate Parker whom they could see growng up on screen, kind of like we did with Harrry Potter.

Hey! He finally did an interview about Spider-Man! This is the first time I heard him talk, he sounds like Harry Potter lol which is really cool. He seems smart and really funny, which is ideal qualities to have for the Spidey role, he also seems really humbled and down to earth which is great. It's interesting how he says its impossible not to take inspiration from the previous movies and how there's factors that he loves from them (humour from the TASM franchise, ha! Take that Raimi and Maguire!) as well as also bringing his own stuff.I'm really looking forward to his take, I have a good feeling about this guy.

He's a smart kid and he says sensible things. That already three steps towards him doing a great job as Spiderman, but as we all know there are a lot of factors not in the hands of the actors that can mess up a movie.

I feel like he's been mocked when he was cast, and now, he's being looked at like a perfect fit for Spider-Man. Kind of like Ben Affleck as Batman.

This is our new Spider-Man. I have no doubt Tom is going to be an amazing Peter Parker/ Spider-Man.

I really don't like him as Peter, I was really hoping for Dylan O'Brien but I hope he proves me wrong. I'm REALLY turned off by the idea that the Vacation writers are penning this and they got an unknown director who hasn't handled a blockbuster. Marvel offered Ava Duvernay from Selma for Black Panther, they've worked with directors like Kenneth Branagh, Joe Johnston, and yet they settle on the Vacation writers and Jon Watts for probably their BIGGEST character. I guess, I can deal with Watts but I really lost my interest until I heard about the Vacation duo.
