It was extremely satisfying watching you discover how the portal works, without even looking it up. Good job. Also, how unlucky to have your portal be by all that lava, then lucky when you died to have all your stuff go through the portal instead of burning up in the lava!

I don't even know if your first Nether experience was super unlucky because the lava dumped all over the portal, or super lucky because your stuff survived. Be careful in there, as you don't want to lose your stuff next time!

When you put items in an anvil there’s an option for naming items. Putting the name tag in and anvil and naming it will name any mob you click it on. It only works once per name tag so be careful what or who you use it on.

Hopefully soon he'll find out why holding shift on ledges is so important haha

You can colour plain terracotta with dyes and make some ones you can't mine.

And you can place blocks below your feet by jumping and placing blocks below your feet. Hold in shift button to prevent you from falling off ledges while bridging

Fun fact about the biome with the red sand Gold generates more frequently in that biome

God that lava next to the portal was unfortunate......

Bro I've been binging your Let's Play series from the first episode. It's funny watching noobs fart around and figure the game out. I actually recommend you study the Minecraft Wiki, because you have barely scratched the surface of this game. Oh and press F3 to activate debug info, like your coordinates, biome info, GPU and CPU info, etc.
