You're not alone, I didn't know about the exploding bed in the Nether either. I felt so humiliated, lol.

your hitbox lowers when standing on soul sand so your hitbox was actually slightly blocking the space that the block would have taken up. i think once you took lava damage the same way. normally you can bridge out like your figured out

I was internally screaming "NOOOOOOOOO" for like 5 minutes while you were building a house for your bed in the Nether lol. There are a few other such things that explode with no warning - do you want us to tell you them? Also I thought it was so fitting when the Minecraft music came on right when you figured out how to make the Eyes of Ender :)

You would have figured it out as soon as you crafted the blaze powder anyways, nothing you weren’t going to figure out. but you are really lost with taming animals and looking that up would help you a lot

Dang your diamond pick survived the explosion but the ghast killed it

Probably not a spoiler because there's no way to find out in game but wearing gold armor makes the pigmen not attack you and you can trade by throwing them gold.

not really a spoiler to me but it's just basic knowledge u should know: whenever u saw that blaze ( fire elemental) disappear, that just means it despawned, mobs all despawn over time if u aren't close enough to them, unless u do a certain something to keep them from despawning...

please dont stop till u beat the game at least!!

I love the series just the way it is!! I hope it continues to be fun for you, cant wait for you to explore mods and multiplayer!

Also fun fact the ghasts noises are one of the developers cats making angry noises. Obviously not a spoiler or tip so I'm not gonna give a spoiler warning

11:30 I can tell you the reason why you weren't able to place a block below you right there. Only reason if you wanna know . . . . . . Soul sands hitbox is 1 pixel lower than most other blocks, so when you were on the edge you were essentially in the way of the block you were trying to place.

I do hope that you continue the series. I have definitely enjoyed it.

You know what happened with that bed. The respawn anchor is the nether equivilant for a bed and requires some sort of glowing nether block to charge it. If you do it in the overworld it will make a mess of things to say the least. Also don’t overfill it or else

also if u explore more nether u might find more cool stuff besides the nether fortress
