I paused your video near the end for this comment. You are 100,000% right about racism being taught rather than something you're born with. In 3rd grade when we were taught about the MLK civil rights movement and Rosa Parks ect. that was the moment I understood that at 8 years old. And I know I'm completely right on that. My city was labeled as the whitest city in America a decade ago by the US Census Bureau, for cities with over 20k people and I am a 33 year old white man. To elaborate a bit since I already made this comment long, when I was (either 7 or 8) and we learned about the civil rights movement we had 1 girl in our class who was black named Gabrielle and all of the other students were white. When they talked about the drinking fountains, back of the bus, different schools ect. I raised my hand and asked my teacher why? I couldn't comprehend why we would want to treat Gabby different. That's exactly what I said to my teacher; That she's our friend and we love playing with Gabby. A child is innocent until they are taught different, and I'll stick by that thought forever. Also solid reaction to an eye opening song.

Tom has said repeatedly, when asked, that he knows for 100% sure that Em doesn't have any beef with him. He won't say how exactly he knows because he knows he'd be accused of clout chasing, but says he absolutely knows and will share the story one day. I'm assuming they talked, but that's just my guess from little things Tom has mentioned. Tom has gone this fast before, most recently on Psycho on his latest album and on Bad Guy on his first album with Adam. There are probably a few more songs I'm forgetting. Tom killed this beat and Nova did a great job directing the video, especially having Dax make the faces he makes on the hook. Adam stayed with Tom for over a month to make this album and they were working out together every day. It shows. Dax and Tom have been friends for years and have a couple songs together.

And that without each "white boy" giving visuals of 2 completely different "white" lifestyles and personalities, Dax's verse wouldnt have hit as hard. The first 2 verses were set up so that Dax could ne the homerun hitter purposefully. "Thіs iѕ a democratiс libеrated conservative pаtrіarchy dipped-in-action affirmatіvе hit sоng" is Dax's line... Tom leans more democratic liberated, Acal is conservative patriarchy, Dax is "affirmative action". In order for Dax's verse to be as hard hitting, we needed the first two exactly as they were.
