The first time I heard this, I broke down sobbing when I heard Tom say " I'm not a celebrity. I am just Tom" and then heard him cry, "I just can't take this shit anymore". It literally broke my heart and all I wanted to do , was hug him. It took me a few months before I could listen to it again. Jim is just a name he used for the random person interviewing him. If you can't handle scary stuff, wait until you react to Tom's Scary Stories. It's just Tom telling his story but he is one hell of a story teller. But don't worry, your entire HOG fam will be here to hold your hand. LOL

The minute this dropped I watched it. And my 1st reaction was...wow, ok, that was a moment in time for Tom. And the HOG understood that Tom was sharing another piece of himself with us. There were some non family members that took this totally the wrong way. They just thought he was whining and complaining about his fame and fans. Sometimes people have bad days. But their brand, PR or managers never let you see that. The best part of Tom is that he is willing to show us "warts and all" of who he is. Great reaction. Love ya. HOG4LIFE

When someone deals with a past addiction, when they get clean, they fulfill that addictive personality with a different addiction. It may be a positive thing that becomes the new addiction but it’s still an addiction. Tom knows that he has replaced the alcohol and drugs with his music and being on the grind. Tom has also admitted that taking a break would result in withdrawals, no less brutal than when he got clean. It is a 2-edged sword. Tom has been able to lock this demon down again. He wrote this a few months back when he was stuck in the depression for roughly 3 weeks, finding it difficult to just get out of bed. He’s good now and really appreciates all the love and support from the H.O.G. #hangovergang forever ✌🏽 My comment to Tom ------- Damn bro, I felt this at a visceral level and was brought to tears, for 2 reasons: 1st: because I don’t enjoy seeing anyone this depressed and I wish I could do something to help 2nd: because I’ve been there, not with fame but feeling that I failed my wife and 4 kids. Thinking they would be better off if I was gone is a very bad place to be. I love you man and I really hope you have this version of a demon locked down for a while. #HOG The Army and we are invincible when we are family 🤘🏼

It took big balls to release this track featuring a story of a time in Tom's life when things where really rough for him during a string of hits that were nothing like this. As mentioned by others many misunderstood Tom and thought this was current or Tom complaining about his success . Think of it this way, he was in a bad part of his life and sat down and wrote this amazing song detailing how he felt inside. Then to release it and show everyone a moment of weakness and self doubt. Man, I relate to this song as a recovering addict as a counselor as someone who is on the arms the one thing I fear Tom I relate is hot heat not the drugs it’s a gun I don’t want to hurt myself before I let God take me to where I want to be I’ll tell you what this is probably one of the best commentators I’ve ever seen. You have really done some great things, fully comprehending and breaking down some of Tom‘s songs and I hope you succeed as much as have, I don’t know how to put in words how much I really love Tom because he can put in words things.
