If you didn't tell 'em and played them this song they would like it since they don't know what Tom sounds like. All they know is that someone's cousins friends mom told 'em that Tom is evil and not to like anything he touches. Well maybe the second two if the first is really some sap that just doesn't like the two of you. That's still 3 more views though, it's part of what Tom banks on .

To be fair times gave changed. Whites are much more well received these days in rap culture. Back then em somewhat needed dre to get his foot in the door. And then his skill shined. For all we know if tom was around when em started he may have had need for a dre as well. And if em started today he may have not needed dre. Times are different. But still tom has so much effort he throws into his raps that I know he isnt undeserving of what you said. But still. Factors matter

Love when he says he won't let his mental illness be his down fall, he pretend to hold a gun to his own head but instead pulls it from his temple and points at the camera, this goes with the flow of the song perfect. Yeah, people aren't giving him the recognition he deserves. He's fully independent and has charted on billboards above mainstream artists. Then some people who refer to themselves as "rappers" trash all of his music for views. If you don't like it, that's cool, stop reviewing it, right?

@IonWrestler I agree. I don't dig all of his hooks either, and I've definitely connected to some of his songs. But to say that he's below Dr Phil girl and other people on the list of rappers is just a farce. I agree that some things def need to be addressed with rap music. Don't get me wrong, Dre and Kanye could write beats and yell the word "nutz" the whole time and I'd probably want to get down to them, but not everyone wants JUST that to ALL mainstream music. That's what made Pac and old school Em special- no fear and real life
