He is just so good!! When I think of "woke" I think of real, I think of truth, I think of street smarts - I think of Tom. On a side note, as you journey you will see that Tom starts to pour his money into production. The song writing gets greater and the production of the vids will blow your mind! He and Nova are incredibly creative. I love this journey and can't wait each day to see which song you will react too! Peace!

Loving watching your Tom Journey! (He's dropping a new song on Friday, he usually drops a inspirational/emotional song right before Christmas) There were a few times in my childhood where I had to deal with roaches, I dreaded turning the light on. If I could avoid turning on a light in a room, I would go in and out as fast as I could. The "If you can't see it, it isn't there: mentality. 😒

No way! I was a goth at school and college as well and guess what? The groups came to me, too! I try not to complain too much but it's been a rough life to be honest, but the one thing I've always been blessed with is friends that are more like family than my actual family ❤ Totally agree I'm glad you're on the journey so everything is hitting harder and you pick up on all the references! You're right, it only gets better and you're barely half way - actually since you will be able to react to two of his full albums towards the end of the journey - you're not even close to half way and he's still putting out new music too of course! 😉 we're just getting started when you think about it! He's also said in some live streams that he's slipped a few times but that was a long time ago. I'm not sure if he has recently, I know before he would occasionally have a beer or two.

Roaches have literally left me traumatized, I don't like bugs off jump but then a person moved in 3 doors down from me and they were from down south. Well they traveled threw the shared basement. Since they brought them from down south they were the flying variety. Only ever had 4 in my unit but screwed with me. My friends parents owned the building so when they got evicted I got to see that in the 6 months they lived there they never took their trash out and we'll just say there were 10s of thousands of those mother FR's in there! Doesn't help I'm a OCD neat freak! Great video. Always True, Woody

This is one of my top 10 favorite songs of Tom's, he keepin' it real. I heard for this song he wanted to go out to the desert and rap his @ss off, so that's what he did. 😉The video was filmed in the California desert. The second verse, it took me several listens to hear what he was saying and a lot of people miss it at first. It goes 'I get death threats every day, insult my family, call me garbage, call me racist'. People attack him and his family, call them names, send death threats. You know what? I'm not one for his hooks sometimes, or the politics stuff woke vs whatever.....BUT!!!!! what i like about this one is the fact that you can tell he's learned his lessons. He don't have to rat himself out this much on songs tbh. He don't have to tell us what he done that he once felt shame for. Stealing off his family. Living like that......being a lowlife. He could have just started a fresh without bringing his past up like many rappers do. Pull the wool over your eyes acting as the happy, friendly celeb lol And for that i think he deserves respect.
