While this doesn't happen tons around the country, it does happen, but at the same time we have veterans who end up homeless or with mental illness and they are entirely forgotten. Regardless of how you feel about welfare as a concept, we should all be able to agree that veterans should essentially be taken care of for life, and since many veterans have horrible outcomes once they get back from deployment, the words here make some sense...
