No denying racism is still super strong and prevelant, especially so it seems in the states. Tom does a great job in this song at displaying how messy our relationships are with eachother, we all blame eachother for everything, we cant make assumptions about any one person based on stereotypes of any given demographic. Being white isnt a free pass, being black isnt, being muslim isnt, for sure theres differences FOR SURE, but its hard for all of us. Interesting to see the irony in how people hate on the song and Tom in the exact way he explains in the song. Great vid bro.

I swear some people have LITERALLY taken it so serious that they're like, "I WISH I COULD LAUGH AT THE POLICE.". And everyone was like, "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... what?" (I'm looking at you, ArtOfKicz. Check out his comment section).

I never really thought about it before, but race is kind of like nationality. But imagine instead of modern nationality, it's like the Greeks, Romans, Germans, Huns, etc. Like that shit is so old that everyone got over that and you don't even care anymore about what your family was in the past and nobody judges your family if you were Greeks and they were Romans, mostly because that shit is old and nobody cares. To be honest, that's how racism should end. I know racism was still huge a few decades ago with segregation, so we still got all that time to heal, but we all got so much in common and we don't realize it and it may be too late when we do realize it.
