Tom drops an inspiring song every year as a Christmas gift to his fans, especially those who are struggling. Black-eyed hard-rapping Tom will be back in 2024. He likes to change things up so it doesn't get stale and feel like a job instead of a passion. And because he's 100% independent, he can release whatever genre he wants. Right now he's number 10 in All Genres and number 5 in Pop on the iTunes charts. Not bad considering it only dropped today.
Fun fact: this video represents a love-hate relationship with yourself. The daisies represent what most all used to do back in the day. Love, me love me not with the petals. Tom spent most of his adult life, loving and hating himself. So he decided to have a video where daisies are surrounding him, and even growing from inside of him because of the battle but now he’s deciding to only love himself, and forget the hate that he had for himself. Oh no, hard Tom will be back, lol. He just doesn't fit in a box. He said he wouldn't be limited to a genre in one of his old songs (before he blew up). Tom tells a story about when he was broke, homeless, and staying in a glass enclosure. He was walking in the rain to work, and he fell. He looked up and saw a red Lambo in the window. He told himself he would have that one day. I think that car in the sky represents the dream he had. Now he says he wouldn't feel right getting it now. Only if he could get one for every person in the #hogfam. He said we saved his life. That's the person Tom is. He has grown so much.
He is like yourself, he can do it all!! Since the beginning of time music is the medium all ALL people have used to express themselves. One of the Bibles longest books Psalms, is a book of songs that they used then and still we use now to praise God, to worship God and if the creator of all things feels thanked, loved and moved to act on our behalf with music it's a good thing. It is so so important that you guys, the next generation, get music back on track! It needs to express who you are, what you feel, what you see and what you dream. These singers who can't sing, can't write and have nothing to say need to get thrown out and let those like you sweet Mezzy show all those around what music is really all about. I have been listening to Tom for awhile now, I HATE the cussing but I LOVE his message. He can reach people I never could and he is not afraid to lay it all out there. I love Tom's political videos but this one is for Christmas and his last song until next year. Tom shared his vulnerability and I could see his heart and soul within this video. I have a good feeling that his audience and fans who feel like giving up, can't let go of their past, and just want to say the hell with it all, are going to find hop3 in this powerful song.
