A friend recommended this to me back in spring, when the first Covid lockdown here in the Netherlands was going strong and I got the confirmation my holiday to Indonesia was cancelled. The first time I gave this beautiful song (and Tom Misch’ discography in general) a real chance was on a boat to Schiermonnikoog island. And this song, as well as the Geography album will always remind me of that boat trip and the ‘alternative’ domestic holiday I enjoyed with my girlfriend on Schiermonnikoog island. Not only did it start my appreciation of this wonderful artist, but it also started the re-appreciation of my own country again. And all of that because of water, baby :)
