@@MrGNugget I mean if they were going to pay Dak they would have reworked his contract this year. That would have gave them more cap room for CeeDee and Parson. If he isnt reworking Daks deal that means he's thinking about moving on. So if they don't go deep in the postseason Jerry can dump whomever he wants with no strings attached. I don't think it's a good idea either.

facts. Dak nut huggers will rush to his side. Listen i dont care if dallas wins 4 games a year without Dak { won't happen}. But at this point who cares. We never do anything in the playoffs with him. Time to restart.

Considering that Dak has not helped the Cowboys fulfill their SBOB mission, and all the games Dak played with their last negotiation, it may be that losing Dak is exactly the end-game plan for Jerry Jones

Jerry will forever think it’s 1993, and what he doesn’t realize is how the entire world has caught up and simply passed him by . . . . His Schtick has become word salad at best, and an over flowing toilet at his worst. He has been the worst GM since 1996, and that is by his performance alone as GM.

Yeah, isn't that the point? I don't understand why the national media is suddenly acting like Prescott is Tom Brady. The dude has been a playoff flop and he always will be. I believe there's only been like 3 QBs in Superbowl history who never won a Superbowl in their 20's to end up winning one in their 30's. And 2 of them (Stafford and Brad Johnson) not with their original teams. Dak is now in his 30's without having even reached a Conference Championship. Sooooooo there's like a 99.999998% chance he's not going to EVER make it. Might as well prepare to blow it all up.

If Dak was to go at the end of next season it opens a whole lot of possibilities but there is one I still can't get out of my head; how can we rule out that Trey Lance might just be a high-quality starting QB in the NFC?
