I mean this in no offense whatsoever to Tom's beautiful legacy and this gem of a song, but it sounds 1000% better in the full band, as it was intended. The intensity and beautiful sheen of Mike's leads really adds so much that is missing during the slow acoustic version he played forever after this era.
have never heard the "full band" version of this song before, just the acoustic ones he's done over the past 10 years or so. sounds awesome! i miss howie, and I miss the band's sound with Stan on the kit....
I honestly like the full band version better. I kept waiting for the drums to kick in when he'd do the acoustic version. Was beginning to wonder if they ever did a full band version live, took awhile to find this.
