Their logic for leaving George behind is so idiotic its absurd.. They would never not invite George to THEIR own wedding and they'd also invite Jessica obviously. So their reasoning is really strange because it means they were more concerned feeling awkward as a guest at someone else's wedding then risking that exact awkwardness at their very own. That makes zero fucking sense. Well.. that or George should prepare for him not getting invited to Bobby and Khalyla's wedding. And before you get ready to counter this point with "It's different cause Jessica was the one getting married" you're right.. its actually way worse and more awkward. Them going out of their way to tell Jessica it wouldn't be a good idea too have him at the wedding implies he has deep feelings for her still. Nothing is more frustrating when someone else dictates the narrative of your own emotions in a conversation your not a part of. Also, The people you talk to the least at weddings are the couple getting married, its about them.. their own families are there to so their attention is in a million places.. you say your congrats and move on. The people you awkwardly engage with the most are guests with other guests. So George is going to have to engage potentially with Jessica and her new Husband anyway now without having done so in the past in a similar setting so he could handle himself a little easier around them. Wow this went way to long and no one is probably going to read this but fuck it, I think this is a strong argument against their decision.

I love this podcast, but this episode in particular was very off putting from the whole George thing to the way you opened and closed with the guest. Anyways I believe Koko’s gonna have her opportunity to realize how she could’ve approached that situation more maturely. More respect to George for handling their burns and shit talk the way he did.
