Trans activist and writer, Billie Lee, first entered the pop culture scene when she appeared on Vanderpump Rules, becoming widely recognized for being the first trans person to star on a Bravo series. Since leaving the show in 2019, Lee went on to pursue a career in acting, writing, producing and comedy where she now graces the stage of some of the most coveted venues in Los Angeles performing alongside heavy hitter comedians, poking fun at herself for being trans.
Now, Billie is collaborating with L.A.-based comedy/podcasting company Jam in the Van, founded by Jake Cotler, on a new podcast series titled “Billie and the Kid,” which premiered this week, launching its first episode on February 7, with new episodes set to air every Wednesday. Billie first appeared on the comedy platform when she joined, "Jam in the Van: The Podcast," hosted by Pauly Shore, earlier this year. Every week, Billie and co-host Sammy 'The Kid' Weiser, sit down with pop culture's favorite comedians, TV personalities, and reality stars for a 30-minute comedy fueled conversation.
The show's premier episode welcomed special guest and Billie's best friend, Tom Sandoval, known for his role in the infamous 'Scandoval' bombshell that played out on the last season of Vanderpump Rules. The drama has continued to unfold this season, with fans speculating about Tom and Billie's relationship, their living situation and more.
In the first episode, Billie and Sammy introduce stoner-fueled bits like, "F**k, Mary, Kill," "Addiction of the Week," and "Gold Star Moments," where they throw guests in the ringer with hilarious games and lighthearted questionnaires.
Naturally, the pair grill Sandoval, asking him for his "F***K, Mary, Kill," giving him a choice between Sandoval's co-stars, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, and his famous ex, Ariana Madix.
They go on to question him about his "Addiction of the Week," where Billie points at a bouquet of roses, saying, "I know who your addiction is," revealing she received the flowers from Tom's new girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson. He then dishes on his new girlfriend for the first time publicly, calling her "hot, successful," and someone who, "does well for herself." He reveals that the pair had known each other a long time, but that they went on their first date the night before the podcast taping.
While diving into their "Gold Star Moment," of the week, Tom talks about his current living situation and sets the record straight for fans who've been speculating that Billie moved into his home. The rumors came after Madix commented on the two's friendship during the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules: The Aftershow.
