For anyone that thinks this is a good interview where Tom can talk freely without Bert interrupting him, you are delusional. Listen to the question(s) asked at 43:00 - guy interrupts twice as Timmy was answering, tries to get in a third interruption but gets shot down, then comes in with the fourth. Painful.
Yeah man he should take random monologues from his podcasts, put them on a dart board, and throw a dart. Whatever it lands on goes into his specials haha. He's incredible at quick improvisational creative jokes but that last special was rough. I was surprised to see him using jokes he's had for literally years in that special.
This podcast made me feel like i'm listening to a couple of nerds constantly repeating a joke that was funny last week and now everyone else forgot about but they are desperately hanging on to it and repeating it trying to also be "cool".
It’s obscene that Tom has to tell everyone he can make a surgeons salary in one night. So let’s be real, Tom is not intrinsically funny. He actually has a boring personality, but he’s extremely hard working. America is a wonderful place for hard workers. It may sound crazy, but all these clowns owe so much to Dane Cook. He ushered in the new era of making insane money at rock star type shows. PS- I like YMH podcast, but it’s not Tom’s personality that drives it forward to success. It’s just watching moronic people on internet videos. He could never just talk by himself and be funny, like a Burr or D’elia podcast.
He has been filling shows for years now, not just because he plays funny clips on his podcast. You not thinking he's funny doesn't make him not funny. him not having the personality to just sit and talk into a mic doesn't make him not funny either
I’m 19, my best friend from as long as I can remember recently did some dumb shit and got 3.5 years time. Me and him have seen everything together and it’s always been “love you bro’s” and “Stay Safes.” He’s about a year into his sentence now, with everyday life going on I don’t get to talk to him over the phone very often, but I hope he realizes imma be right there when he’s out, even if I can’t answer every call imma still be right there when you get out.
