My dad’s gone now but lived in Hawaii when they were doing Magnum PI and had fond memories of playing volleyball with tom on the beach a few times, said he was a great guy very down to earth
Toms a really down to earth hands on dude. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him a few times, and one of his agents years back, sold them Redwood deck boards and fencing for various projects.
I met him in Hawaii as he was playing volleyball he winked at me and I talk to him and recorded him on an early recording machine I was in my 20s. He was very nice and pleasant.
Good morning, greetings from Italy, congratulations.. I too would have liked to meet him and shake his hand. Ever since I was a boy I was thrilled to see him in action, for me he is one of the most humble and nicest actors ever
I have always followed Tom Selleck in his Tv programs. He is always so great in any show he plays and I am very proud of him - Actors don't come better than him.
"Tom Selleck's SANE lifestyle!" would be a better headline. I recently bought all 8 seasons of Magnum P.I. for like $50..money well spent! I recall bits of the show from it's og airing..it is even better now in my 50's than it was when I was a teen. RIP to John 'Higgins' Hillerman and last summer, Roger E. 'T.C.' Mosely..I think he died from complications after a car accident? Anyways..Tom is a cool guy. God bless & keep him & his family! It'd be cool to see Tom & Larry Manetti get together though, for a retrospective.
Good morning, greetings from Italy, I too admire Mr. Selleck and I have never missed an episode of Magnum PI. Even now they show it on TV and every time I feel new emotions
Tom Selleck is an amazing actor and I am so glad that he is keeping himself grounded at the ranch. He's great in every movie he makes and his TV shows of Blue Blood and Magnum P.I. are perfect for him because he stays who he perfectly is I'm very proud of him for being himself he is one of the few actors that has not let me down as a fan.
@@TomSelleck-ze4lo thank you so much for replying Sir I love to watch every show that you've ever been on and I respect you for you picking the ones that you do you are so awesome you're an honest man and I thank you so much for the compliment when I was younger one of my oldest brother look just like you in fact he may even met you and he said that you were such an honest man and he enjoyed working with you it was here in Jacksonville Florida and I kidded him about how much he look like you so I started calling him Tom but his name was Jeff thank you very much for the nice surprise of responding I've adored you and respected you all my life you take care now and you have a wonderful life
He is my select actor to play ThunderBolt Ross after the late William Hurt, but they apparently selected Harrison Ford. Also I always considered Tom Selleck to play a live action version of Omni Man from INVINCIBLE.
One of my favorite Actors on one of the only TV shows that I watch on a regular basis. Frank Raegan is the modern day Matt Dillon, as he fights to preserve Law, Order and Morality in modern times. His Westerns with the Carradine brothers were very cool as well as the Jessie Stone series was also top notch.
I've always loved Tom Selleck, not just for his acting but also for the wonderful man he is. I'm a Friends fanatic and watch a couple of episodes every night before I go to bed, even though I've probably seen every episode 50 times. I just watched the episodes when Richard and Monica fell in love and then broke up. As usual, I got teary eyed!
I am a lover of all Tom Sellek roles although my personal favourite is Jesse Stone. I have bought the CD's so I watch some every night when I am in bed and at the moment I am listening to the music CD. I live in the Uk just a few miles from where Toms wife lived in Wiltshire, she is such a lucky girl. I wish he would make another Jesse Stone movie...
I am no one's judge. However, if stealing water 💧 is all Tom has done wrong, well, I don't care. And, after all, he paid the bill. I still say he's a good guy. I've been a huge fan since day one of Magnum P. I. ❤ 🚘
Back in 1988 when he was making Quigley down under in Alice Springs Australia I happen to be sitting in a restaurant where he walks in and sits right across from me and has dinner then one night I was sitting in the Sheraton having a drink, and he walked right by me in his costume from Quigley down under, I used to live there for four years
I had a big crush on Tom Selleck years before he met Jillie Mack. Recently, my 4 year old granddaughter and I were watching a “Friends” episode where “Dr. Richard Burk” met Monica. My granddaughter went nuts when she saw him! She kept saying she was going to marry him! I tried to explain to her that he was already married, old enough to be her grandpa and by the time she’s old enough to marry him, he’ll be dead. Then, she saw some Magnum P. I. CDs and asked me to by them for her! I guess the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree!
I did not realize Tom Selleck was a FORMER NAVY SEAL, but not TOO SURPRISED because of the way he handled a 1911 on Magnum P I and his affiliation with the NRA organization. I also didn't know that he was a HISTORIAN of the OLD WEST. I LOVED HOW HE HANDLED HIMSELF ON THE ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW. I've ENJOYED pretty much ALL his movies and TV series except for the one's that are REALLY for WOMEN. I THINK OF MYSELF AS A MAN'S MAN even though I wasn't in the service much less a NAVY SEAL. I did try to do things that people would say "YOU DID WHAT!" I was Small growing up (8th grade 5'1" 75lbs) and I went out for FOOTBALL with kids MUCH BIGGER THAN ME. I played BASEBALL, RODE A MOTORCYCLE and other MACHO MAN stuff. You may say so WHAT but I did it with ONLY ONE EYE (birth defect) and that makes it a little DIFFERENT, didn't let my size and one eye prevent me from doing what I want even though I did have a MOTHER that you would have thought she was JEWISH the way she tried to SMOTHER ME and keep me from doing IN HER MIND DANGEROUS THINGS. I HOPE Tom Selleck continues to do well from another THOMAS. 🤔😯😉👍
Love 💕 Tom Selleck great 👍 actor 🎭 and human beings. I watch the Blue Blood 🩸 always !!!!, great 😊 person and beautiful family. ✋👍👍👍👍🙌🙌👏👏🧡💚🧡💚🙏🇪🇨🙏 bye 😘 Tom
Tired of you folks not fact-checking and stating falsehoods. "Did Tom Selleck serve in Vietnam? The military left a strong impression on Selleck, who recalls his service with pride, "I am a veteran, I'm proud of it," he said. "I was a sergeant in the U.S. Army infantry, NATIONAL GUARD, Vietnam era. We're all brothers and sisters in that sense.""" ...NOT A USN SEAL as you state here! Get'r'right...
Love Thomas Magnum.. So very handsome... I would come home from school, just to watch!!!!! Loved him wearing the big D hat!!!! Love from The Motor City, Detroit Rock City!!!! 🎶🎶🎶.... Great Actor!!!! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹.....
Tom, Looks like you may have some Negative naysayers out there. As we know, you'll never be able to please Everyone. In all your acting and Hollywood Rolls, I noticed you to have discernment. You are one of the few Male actors, That did not put on dress. I've never gotten tired of watching quiggly down under ! BE Well! 🙏
I love Tom but he was never a Navy Seal. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. I believe He would want you to correct that because as an Air Force Veteran I would not say I was a Green Beret 🤷🏼♀️.
Talk about INSANE as the title says....how about the MULTI BILLIONAIRES who cant stop buying land and increasing their fortune. Love Selleck....great guy
Boohoo... I don't blame him a bit if he paid for it. Avocados require a good bit of water and years before the trees produce fruit. Here in Dallas, some people were complaining that Ross Perot was spending $400,000 a month in water to keep his property green. It is all a matter of perspective. I and an Associate got pinged by our respective cities when during a drought we had water in the Street. Told them to test the water and it turns out, no chlorine... we had both our houses built next the Spring that was naturally occurring and fed the farms that had previously existed.
Monty Walsh...probably my favorite. Only remake of a classic movie that was of equal quality. His western roles are by far his best. As far as "stealing water", only in commiefornia would that be a real thing.
I'm a true "Blue Bloods" fan in spite of their occasional Jesuit-informed misinformation. But I have serious trouble with Mr. Selleck playing financial advisor to influence gullible senior citizen, when he will never have occasion to use the product he promotes and profits from. He obviously doesn't know that there are serious dangers in reverse mortgages for some seniors. I know from personal experience. Francis Xavier Reagan should know better. I guess Tommy doesn't get it.
I don't begrudge Tom Selleck a thing, but, it's sort of hard to keep talking about a guy being grounded, and then, turn around and talk about a ranch that has it's own heliport.......
@@TomSelleck-ze4lo speaking of smiling, that reminds me of the time during the war, Thomas, have I ever told you, Higgins I'm going for a ride Well, sackett to me blue bloods Thomas, I'll come with you Hiiggiins fine, but don't jabber on too much, oookay my lips are zipped, I say, speaking of zips, Thomas you could write a satirical spoof similar to Blazing Saddles with everything you've ever done, you and Sam Elliot could have hoot, should you choose to accept this mission, Just kidding.....
@@TomSelleck-ze4lo Thomas Magnum sashayed onto our screens in New Zealand in the 80s, can't remember the year but certainly remember the times, seems like every episode was an occasion. Magnum PI is one of the finest Champagnes that one has ever tasted and once tasted never forgotten and as the voyeur heads off to bed with a cheeky Thomas Magnum grin on his face, to be transported by Ferrari to Thomas Magnum dreamland it leaves one slightly inebriated without ever having to open the bottle Oh Higgens wake up you're dribbling in your sleep. Ah well I hope you are the real Tom Selleck- if you are thanks for the Champagne years- I'll write a little synopsis for you and Sam that just popped into my mind, might be fun a bit like grumpy old men, but with sexy grey aged foxes who still swoon the gals, hey, cheers
There is a billionaire farming couple in Cali that has bought up and control all the water rights so multi generational small family farms are going under. Is this our beloved Tom? I watched the smaller farmer's video last year, showing their wasteland. It was heart wrenching
No, that was some liberal Cali bullshit that the media ran with and twisted....... one of his farm hands was doing that..... but it's his name on the property..... so
