Since I have learned that the original music video for this song has been directed by Tom himself, I found it quite fitting to use this beautiful song for on of the most haunting Tom movies: Effie Gray.

What a wonderful edit! 👍 I didn't like this movie very much, actually... Dakota Fanning is boring there. She has the same facial expressions throughout the movie. But Tom Sturridge is the drawing-card! ❤️ His acting is the best thing in this film!

I think Dakota was trying to express the doom and emptiness of the life in the marriage of Effie. She was stuck in her situation so she fell into herself and seemed to be more dead than alive. So I can relate. It was kind of unbearable to stand through this depressing and desperate scenes. About Tom, well ... most lovable and amazing in his role. As ever. Thank you so much for your comment and thoughts!
