Yeah, he's good. Recently there was a case when keekihime was attacked by a stalker and it's unfortunately not an isolated incident. And there are a lot of people around Vedl/Neuro and no one can guarantee that each of them is adequate, if you just forget about the fact that the equipment itself costs 5000. All it takes is one crazy person for something bad to happen. So Turtle's right to think about safety.

The few times that people talk about behind the scenes Vedal, aside from mentioning him running late or being slow to get back to people they all mention that he is very polite and considerate.
Neuro more so, but during the stream yesterday Layna learned about Evil's birthday incident, she'll be there for Evil now. Saying how she'll protect Evil, etc., so maybe Evil will finally have someone who she is special to (other than chat / her army) 😢

Vedal going above and beyond to give support to his friend. Could just go with 1 or 2 guards, but he went with 5 to cover most of the cardinal directions. To make sure Toma would be safe. Suggested sending the backpack no matter the cost even tho he could just give her the money to buy one, tho i doubt Toma would ask for it anyway.
Vedal does seem to get concerned when real danger is involved. He joked around with Filian about putting the lava lamp on the stove then freaked out when he realized how dangerous that could be.
To be fair, that lava lamp thing was really dangerous. They were essentially playing with a live hand grenade. I don't think a streamer going to a zoo is nearly that dangerous. Likely, the only thing that would happen is some eager fans trying to meet toma and get something signed or say hi to neuro. One body guard is enough to keep her from being kidnapped or attacked, which is unlikely anyways considering how public the place is and that vtubers really aren't THAT famous. She's not going to be mobbed in the same way someone like a top kpop star would be.

Its honestly enduring how seriously he takes his friends safety (theres also the possibility that he jsut has alot of foreign friends and this is all one big in joke on Toma which doubles as free security detail)
He's willing to spend $3000 to make sure his AI daughter has a good time. Knowing that even spending this much, he will only have a minor impact to his bottom line, and probably will make money off of it in the end.

The bodyguards aren't to protect Toma from people. It's to protect Toma from the tigers when Neuro inevitably order her to get into the pen to get a taste of the big cats. 5 bodyguards may not be enough.

Vedal got timed out/shortbanned yesterday for showing his browser with the twitch logo for like a second on stream on Bilibili so I hope he doesnt change stream content to appease Bilibili.

He has a lot of running expenses related to streams, like just running Neuro is damn expensive, but I guess he doesn't spend that much outside the streaming so he has money to spend. Tho he has expanded Neuro content recently by joining other platforms and doing sponsorships.

@MikaelaExtra I'm pretty sure he doesn't use chat gbt for Neuro, he was even thinking of giving her access to it (if she has questions), but he might use it for some other parts, just not the main AI. I would imagine that makes it quite a bit cheaper (for the chat gbt part)

I don't think it needs 5 bodyguards, Georgi is enough. Some big streamers 6k+ already came to Brazil for IRL streams and their bodyguards where literally some mods that I could wipe out without putting effort. There was no problem no one caused problems for them IN BRAZIL, Georgi is a big guy he is enough to take care of anyone crazy enough, and the crazy people I can think of in CA don't even watch Vtubers, they probably watch Kai LMAO, I don't think anything can happen at all. A zoo already has security too, one is enough. But it is nice to see that Vedal is willing to expend to protect his friends. Really rare to see this on the streamers world.
